@Mobwalli Thank you! They came out amazing with the gktwo. I do have another issue with the ultra tho as its adding lines into the prints which should be smooth due to a faulty heating setup with the firmware so still a paperweight at this point 😅

The other thing to consider about multiple mid sized printers versus 1 large printer is the equipment and space needed to clean a larger print. That being said, printing a large model that doesn't need gap fill is pretty amazing.

@clute76 I mean it really doesn't take up that much room to clean in all honesty but I did think it would. I'm waiting on the replacement parts now as I still can't use it lol

Any idea about clear resin on your GK2? About two months ago, I did order three Ultras, not knowing they don't suggest clear resin on 405 light wave, although two gurus used clear resin prints on GK2 and 3.

@Haxzyr They sell clear resin in the carts for the ultra so it should be fine just need to lower the exposure time. I'm still waiting on my replacment parts to actually use the printer properly and if it doesn't work perfect after that I will be returning it sadly 😔

@Kevinwoolford123 Thank you for "clearing" any doubt.

No clue what i just watched but i sat and watched all 18mins of it, so these printers arent like the old school 3d printers then? looks like something out of westworld hahahaha

@tootyuk basically vats of sludge that a plate rises out of it and makes solid detailed single colour objects that you can paint or use to fix something like a oil cap or pretty much anything like a light gun housing or a clear console shell. This are way more advanced than standard printing as the detail is 👌👌👌😍

@tootyuk The larger printer was meant to be a quicker way of making models or larger items but with the unreliable new model it's on the back burner sadly 😥
@tootyukАй бұрын
@@Kevinwoolford123 ill have to google it and see it in action as i still can picture how it makes the item from a vat of sludge? the old method i get it builds it up in layers so this does it in one pass, or it "removes/separates" the sludge to form the item?
@tootyukАй бұрын
@@Kevinwoolford123 Right i understand how it works now, UV light hardens the plastic as its being pulled out the vat of sludge, super cool!

@tootyuk it's absolutely amazing as tech goes. Genuinely can make anything so super handy 😌
