I have one of these machines my first ever 3d printer, I used ground engineers blocks to level gantry and installed backlash nuts as well. The grease off your fingers can cause adhesion issues so use IPA and a rag to clean surface. Also i don't use the 0.2 shim to level but use a 0.1 sheet of paper and have had no issues. Have installed a microswiss all metal end and Am planning on installing a direct drive extruder from them as well.

Hey Dave! I have the same printer. For gantry leveling I use 2 identical printed blocks and put the gantry manually (motors disabled) down so that both the left and right side rests on one of these blocks. No need to grasp one side while setting the other side. Then I just raise the Z axis, which powers both motors again and then they will stay level. I do this for each and ever print. The same as what you do but maybe even easier. Hey BTW thanks or the video. Looks like the support for the bowden tube is also a good add-on. Would you happen to have the stl file around? I can not immediately find the link on thingyverse. Greetz, Nicolas

We have one at work and to be honest it had several design flaws as you described, the bed is real crap and the x axis as you said is not in sync, a pulley between them should have been a easy fix for creality. 2 drivers and 2 end stops the more expensive and best way. As usual with creality you buy it because you want to fix it :)

I've had pretty good luck with the tinymachine's z-sync kit for what it's worth.

I wanted to buy it but shipping and taxes included it's about 170$. That's a bit expensive
@marcohornstra89823 жыл бұрын
@@Treedeedave Actually the kit costs 20$ and shipping to Belgium is 28$.I just ordered one. I used a customs/tax calculator just to be sure, shouldn't cost me anything extra. Not sure where you got that 170$ from. I would also like to print and install that capricorn/bowden tube brace/guide you've put on your Cr 10 max. But I can't seem to find it anywhere (Thingiverse). Could you point me in the right direction?

I don't speak English very well. Did I understand correctly you have installed Tiny machines? because with my Max impossible to make prints there is each time a problem when launching the prints. at the auto leveling stage ...
@KL0J0873 жыл бұрын
@@Stradito I have ordered it. It will be some (10 days, 2 weeks who knows) time before I will receive my order. What problem do you have exactly? I ordered the tiny machines Z sync kit so I won't have to level the gantry every time I power off/on the printer. When the printer is powered down the left side of the gantry will lower a little bit, while the right side might move up a tiny bit. If you don't have a z sync kit, you will have to level the gantry with the black plastic rectangle piece included with the printer every time you power up the printer. This video might also help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/onacmmRjeb1kl6s
