My friend Tammy Burns gave me this book around 1998 or so. After about 10 years or so I finally read this book. I had been ignoring it thinking it was an old book with old Scottish vocabulary which would be quite hard to grasp since I'm Brazilian and English is my second language. Oh boy! After I started reading it, I've never got over it! Simply brilliant, remarkable, exceedingly inspiring and the best--life changing!! The Bible FIRST, but Chambers' My Utmost for His Highest definetely Second now and forever more. When I see Mr. Chambers in Heaven I'll be standing in a long line to hug this hero of mine for quite a long time to thank him for All the help, the support, the encouragement I've received from his teachings and writings. But this will only happen after I finally finish hugging and thanking Biddy Chambers for writing every word down her great husband uttered in his teachings and preachings! She's my heroine too. GOD, thank YOU so much for these two awesome servants of yours!! My love for CHRIST JESUS has increased considerably due to people like Mr. & Mrs. Chambers!!

I was given this book by a friend as I entered the foreign mission field. It has been on my shelf for many years. I am 81 years of age and currently returning to my work of teaching in Haiti. I must say that after reading and meditating on just the first few pages of this book, My Utmost for His Highest, I am experiencing a wonderful new and deeper relationship with my Lord. He is faithful.

My dad gave me a copy of My Utmost for His Highest roughly 35 years ago, when he was training to be a pastor. At the time, I was a bit too immature to really appreciate its content. Later in life, however, I re-read the book and instantly recognized that it was something very, very special. I have since read it through numerous times and purchased various copies to give to family and friends. It has been a source of incredible inspiration to me, and I often think about the special relationship between Oswald and Biddy and how God utilized their love for each other as a means through which to reveal His Gospel to a far wider world.

I received My Utmost For His Highest in 1983 as a fairly new Christian. I tried it as my devotional, but it was hard for me to understand. I would read a daily every so often, but it didn't really take hold of me until a major re awakening in 2011 when I took off with AW Tozer for 5 years. This teacher prepared me for the Master. 2015 he finally got through to me and how I hungered for His word and Chambers really helped. I am now digesting his complete works for the 3rd time. Such a wonderful teacher more in touch with Jesus than any teacher I have ever read. Searching scripture for over 45 years now.

My father was the third generation born to missionaries to India. My mother and father met at Nyack (bible seminary) in NY. 5 years later went off to India where I and my brother were born. We always read from My Utmost and from the Daily Light devotional. I love the scriptures (only scripture) in that powerful little devotional ! I have my fathers copy of that very little blue book ❤

This is an interesting documentary on the life of Rev. Oswald Chambers a great man of God. I discovered Rev. Chambers' writings through the Our Daily Bread Publications. It is noteworthy to state that the Our Daily Bread Devotional pamphlet was very popular in Nigeria when l was a young boy and it became part of my life in the 1980s. Having listened to many readings of Rev. Oswald Chambers's writings on the radio, l was privileged to purchase a copy of 'My Utmost for His Highest', one of my treasured Christian books. Though Rev. Oswald Chambers slept in the Lord too early, he touched and still continues to touch many lives with his body of work. He poured himself for Jesus Christ through unparalleled service. Thank you Our Daily Bread for the continued publication of his writings.

A believer in Jesus Christ’ upon his grave stone. God rest his soul. Charles Spurgeon a source of inspiration to him. Oswald Chambers, interesting the lives, biographies of the journeys on these, of these men of faith, how God made use of them, how God did a work in their life. His daughter so sensitive, the family seemed so sweet.

I come around his books just by accident and it pierced into my longing soul and touched the core of my heart. I wrote his name and searched for other writing of his. The rest is a journey of getting friends with him. I say now his life was a blessing to many and still is through his writings. He is one of the few precious men of God through them God showed and taught me His Nature and Way. The Gospel is indeed the Power of God unto Salvation. And Salvation is to have the Life of the Son of God in me. Even I am known for quoting of Chambers Writings. God is really Wonderful in All What He does and how He works is infinitely glorious. To God be all the Glory. Amen

My uncle gave me his book 5 years ago before he passed away. I was a burnt out jaded missionary about 8 months ago. I had always loved Jesus but at 13 I only felt his presence and then nothing but darkness. Until 8 months ago at the age of 43 had been walking through the dark night of the soul. His book brought my fiance and I together. I'm currently planning to travel to visit my sister who is younger than me by 13 years in Japan where they're serving she's in the Navy and her husband works on the base of the bicycle maker Doing missionary work for 3 years. I'll be staying there for a month saving some money to fly to California visit my uncle my aunt my brothers and nieces and nephews as well my fiance He needs the love of God in his life heart. Good man but he's been through a lot. To that I'm traveling to Indiana to visit my spiritual mom and hopefully God will show me where to go His parents don't know we're together but they will they're older and unfortunately they depend only on him he lives with them due to blindness and inability to drive but I have difficulties but God always makes a way
