In this video we take a look at my Van Halen guitars and Kramer guitar collection. This video includes my Ernie Ball Music Man Van Halen guitars, the EVH Frankie Relic and the EVH Frankie. Really cool collection man. It's very hard to pick a favourite because all of them are so good. The white relic, and the burgundy music man. But then again I would probably change my mind after the feeling of playing them.

Thanks for sharing those with us. I also love your white Frankie. Last year I made a Frankie type, it was an old FIesta Strat. I sanded the candy apple red headstock to its natural wood and it looks great. Used a Seymour custom pickup and it sounded so Van Halen, I started searching for Van Halen songs and found YOU! I loved your videos and you really help me expand my playing ability Keep up the great work Marty

Wow! Soo cool, Marty. Fun vid, and I've been sort of jonesing for you to show us the full Van Halen collection! Man those are just some killer guitars! I love the Diver Down guitar and the Hagar yellow 55. That blue Kramer Pacer is awesome too. But I mean... I love all of them. I'm working up a little collection myself. A few actual EVH guitars... and a few clones. And then... a few I built myself. Frankencaster types. Fun stuff. Also - I always hated the Music Mans... but I'm getting into them all of a sudden.

Great collection Marty, I also own two blue Kramer Specials, amazing guitar for the money. Finally broke down and bought a Charvel San Dimas, really like the neck, weight and quality. Plan to buy a couple EVH guitars, I’m told they have a very similar neck to the Charvel. I have a couple home made striped Kramer, the imperfections do add character.

I have a Peavey Wolfgang and the neck is more narrow and more round than the EVH striped series. Big difference!

i feel really fortunate, i bought 8 80's kramers before eddie passed. they were cheap then. 87 retta $800, like new focus..$250 etc. i tried to tell folks about the esp quality for cheap but no one would listen

I have the Bumblebee and the Circles/See Ya (aka the Unchained guitar). As for Kramer, I have bough a few Strikers back in the day when MusicYo was selling them for around $180-$219 depending on pickup config. I had a candy apple red, a black & white "Crackle" (which I regret selling) and still have the "Splatter" one which is white with red and black paint splattered on it. I also still have the black Baretta that has a sustainer system in it. That was $400. The other MusicYo purchase was a Steinberger Spirit GU Deluxe in white for $229. That was another guitar I wish I never sold. I have to stop being lazy and make a video of my collection. lol

Very sweet collection Marty…I have an ‘83 pacer that I bought new…it has the beak headstock…but when the 90’s came you couldn’t be seen playing a shredder…so I sanded off the Kramer logo…now it’s worthless…yep, I’m an idiot 🫤

You should check out Meanstreet guitars. They're made by a guy in Pensacola I think but he's been doing all things EVH-ish for probably 25 years. The thing is I've never seen one pop up on the used market....ever.

I have two EVH Wolfgang guitars, one is a standard and the other is a special. I love both of them. The special in my main guitar, when I'm playing guitar rather than bass. I agree with you on the EVH Frankie, it's easily one of my favorite guitars. I love how it plays and sounds. I've wanted one of those Ernie Ball EVH guitars, but they are waaaaay out of my price range. As it is, I have to buy most things on store credit. It's tough to just throw down a grand on anything.

@@ChrisG1967 Sounds like the Stripped series 5150 Guitar is on everyone's short list. The quilted purple WG Special is also on my short list. I love purple and need a nice looking, and very playable, like my other EVH WG Special. Once I get and pay off the purple guitar, the 5150 Stripped is absolutely next.
