Hi James. Great modifications to Tyler's original design. Is that all Cedar Tone wood? It looks like nicer wood than what Tyler used. Thanks.

Our pressure treated wood has that reddish tone. Thanks for watching!

The 8 foot bridge versus Tyler's 3 foot... is it the same width as in his plans. On the end of that bridge, are The posts resting on blocks? Ground?? Buried in concrete??? I also noticed you added an A frame on that bridge like you did on the tower. I'm assuming you buried them in concrete also? Thanks so much, we are just getting started now. Btw, Loved the idea of a water level. Worked great!!

Yes same width. The posts are on blocks. The A frame is in concrete. The tire swing has a heavy pull with 3 kids on it. Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for watching! Post a pic of yours!

looking good. i got the plans and that will be my spring project. i've wondered, the monkey bars seem to be a safety issue, if my grand daughter falls, i'm thinking she will catch on a swing. Am i being overly concerned?? Are the swings out of the way enough from the monkey bars?? thanks for making these videos.
@BlackForestDesigns4 жыл бұрын
The swings are offset from the bars. Still - no one should swing while the bars are in use. Thanks for watching!

Bovus13 my swing set is not as fancy as this & it has the money bars over the swings. My boys who are 6 & 7 are monkeys on the monkey bars & the swings don’t pose an issue. My rule is you can’t swing if someone is on the monkey bars

Can you show me how to anchor the whole set to the ground too?

You may have covered this, but I missed it. How much approximately did this cost when you put it together?
@BlackForestDesigns4 жыл бұрын
It was just over $3,000 with the most expensive thing being the accessories. Thanks for watching!

@zachschultz3534 I would finish the roofs with paper and shingles, so if it was raining they could still play in the towers without getting wet. My mod would add a walkout pier with railing on the side of the regular slide for an rc course.

That’s great how you have that large sand pit The previous owners must of also had a swing set there at one point
@BlackForestDesigns4 жыл бұрын
Nope. It's a natural pit. We've dug down 6 feet and its nothing but sand. Thanks for watching!
