I started 11 years ago when I was 3 years old. My first project was a very fucked up scarf. I still have it. I wear it I have no shame lol. Anyway, now I can crochet a nice bralette in 2 or 3 hours. Don't give up those creations will get really good one day

I’m 30 i started crocheting back in feb 2019 well knitting but I didn’t like it and then I switched to crochet and fell in love. I have adhd and I get discouraged bc I’m a “slow” crocheted mostly due to having to stop every 5-10 min bc something els has now captured my attention (cat, dog, husband, random noise, random thought…etc) lol I just went and grabbed my first items and looked at them and compared them to some of the items I have made for people and there truly is a difference. 💜✨🙌 one day I’ll be GREAT! :D

Listen to her advice! I’m an 11 year-old starting, but I got help from my art teacher. My advice is getting somebody you know who knows how to crochet and let them teach you! Videos didn’t help me, but if it helps you keep it up! Don’t give up ❤

Thanks for sharing. I just bought stuff to teach myself to crochet. I have always been super artistic. I mostly paint but as a kid I’d make sock monkeys and dolls out of sheets and stuff lol. I’ve always collected plushies so it’s right up my alley but man it’s harder than it looks. 😮‍💨😵‍💫

When I first learned to crochet I started with amigurmi soon after learning the basics. I did a beginner small dragon pattern. I did several of those and they all were different lengths. Then I learned about stitch markers and those helped me tremendously. So my first attempts at crochet were not the best, I actually tried before one other time but my friend was good at crocheting, but didn’t actually teach me much of the basics techniques so I gave up for several years before I found one person who could teach better, and funding people who teach on KZbin helped me also.
