You’re always so real, thank you ❤. As a Christian mom it’s been hard to find Christian KZbinrs who aren’t following trends or becoming cult like lol so thank you, thank you for being a real one in this space.

I did moms on call after learning about it from you. I was super strict with it with my first, and I’ve been more flexible but used the core values with my second. It works. I think my boys have a better life because of it. Letting you know you got one mama sleep back and I appreciate you telling me about this. I know it’s such a delicate subject, but it helped me - so thank you. ❤

I feel you mama! Hello from Romania 🇹🇩🤗 I have 3 little ones (6 years, 2,5 years and 9 months). Our baby boy is named Theodor, just like your little one 🫣 I find the transition from 2 to 3 so difficult and the day is so full with big emotions, especially being home a lot with my kids.

This was great, thank you!! As moms we learn to guard our time. Following influencers we don’t relate to, and buying material items we don’t really like is not the way we can afford to spend our time! 😊 I did a mix of baby wise and Taking Cara Babies. I’ll be recommending moms on call to my friends, I hadn’t known about it when I started having babies. Having a loose structure has been great for my family too!

I just have to say you're doing amazing ❤ and I feel like you're the most genuine and authentic out of most KZbin moms. I've seen quite a few other channels and honestly I unfollowed them "BECAUSE" I can't relate to their channel at all. Most of these moms get A LOT of help that's why you see them posting so many videos and every time they do they look rested and well taken care of. And its like you said it's not that what they are posting is bad content, not at all. It's just hard to relate to its not my reality so I choose not to watch them because I'll start comparing myself and it's not good for my mental health.

Yes, exactly, very well said! They are great mamas and mean well but sometimes the amount of help they receive isn’t disclosed either and naturally we compare and wonder how they do it all. Appreciate your comment and thanks for the encouragement 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on comparison to other mamas we see online. I started watching this kind of content on KZbin after I had my first daughter to find inspiration, and essentially learn how to be a mom. As the years have passed, and I have had two more children, I am in such a different place watching this content. I find myself comparing myself and my situation to these mamas that I have formed a “friendship” with, since I have watched them for so many years. I have noticed, however recently that I find myself processing negative thoughts while I’m watching these videos, and I guess I just haven’t had the courage to Unfollow and unsubscribe them now that I no longer resonate with the current stage of motherhood that we are each in. Having consumed their content for almost 5 years, I feel like I know them and it feels sad to say goodbye.
@Nicolelelagreen
@Nicolelelagreen 9 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing, that’s exactly how I feel as well. I think for a lot of us it started out that way but overtime we all change and maybe take different paths so it makes sense that we wouldn’t necessarily resonate with every single mom we followed years ago. We all have to do what’s best for our own mental health and thought processes. Social media is so complicated in that there’s so much good but so much negative at the same time. I’m truly working on finding that balance on here.

I really enjoyed the video😅 I currently have a 9 month old and will be expecting another in August. Do you think going from 1 to 2 was challenging? If so is there any advice you could give me for the 2 under 2 adjustment ?
@Nicolelelagreen
@Nicolelelagreen 9 ай бұрын
Yeah for sure it was challenging too for us the hardest part was our oldest dealing with the transition and his temperament getting a little rougher, granted he was in the 2's stage at that point so its already hard because they cant communicate very well as it is. My most practical advice is to potty train the oldest before baby is born (so happy i did that) and have them on a good schedule so once baby is born as least the oldest has their routine down and the newborn will be able to eventually match that as they get older. Also lots of book son baby sibling coming so they are as prepared as can be. Congrats and best of luck!

Random question, but how do you balance church life with kids 2 and under with nap times and things?
@Nicolelelagreen
@Nicolelelagreen 9 ай бұрын
We usually have to be more flexible on Sundays because our church service starts at 9 o’clock, which is usually when Theo would be going down for his first nap. He typically falls asleep in the car ride on the way to church too. So we end up just having him do that little catnap in the car and then once we drop him off in the Baby room, he seems to be rested enough that he wants to be up and playing that whole time and we just give them a bottle to give him since he usually will eat around 1030 or 11. Then once we get home, he seems to be tired a little bit earlier than 1 o’clock so we’ll put him down maybe earlier around 1230 or so. We just adjust everything since we can’t exactly stay on our typical schedule.

@@Nicolelelagreen thanks for the reply! My 2 year old doesn’t like it at all to be put in the room with other kids, and my 1 year old can deal if someone’s holding him, but I just don’t know how to handle it. I’d love to go and enjoy church in the church but I end up live streaming while my husband goes

Loved this video! Mark and I were like she is totally kidding! Or is she?! 😅Once I showed him the teaser reel you posted on IG. Ran to KZbin to find out 😂 Also, I’m totally in the thick of it with nursing all through the night. So far any attempt at sleeping through the night has not been successful. My little guy wakes up every third hour like clockwork. It’s like he has his own little internal clock. (Averaging about 4.5/5 broken up hours a night 🫠) I bet it also has a lot to do with the fact that he is right next to me in the bassinet but not quite ready to move him into his room yet. He is 3 months on the 18th 🥹🥹

Ha ha looks like I tricked you and Mark! My bad, but yeah, there will be no more babies in our household! And yes, sounds like you are right in the thick of it with that three or four month regression to! Definitely could be a good time to start thinking through Next steps as he gets a little older and can handle longer stretches at night, but totally go off of his cues and your readiness!
@everod92
@everod92 9 ай бұрын
Totally think we’re hitting that sleep regression. Also, although not the best practice he naps best on his tummy when in his crib during the day so when it’s time for nighttime sleep he struggles, wakes more because I keep him on his back. Trying to break that habit (totally my fault) but the boy likes being on his tummy. I got the Moms on Call book on Audible when I first heard you mention it while you were using it with Aria I believe. Going to try and dive back in to get some tips on helping him get on a schedule for this coming month. We moved Gianna into her room at 7 months old. Don’t know how much sooner I’ll decide to move Levi. Although I really miss sleep, the thought of not having him directly next to me makes me sad. I’m not ready 😢 I feel so silly saying that because his room is steps away from ours!
