Borders were closing everywhere. I lost my passport. I was trying to find a way to get out of the Philippines so I could get back home before everything shut down and I would be stuck in the Philippines for a long time...and I can't believe how lucky I got!
While all this was going on we did a little exploring around Panglao. We weren't allowed to travel around the Island of Bohol at the time but we were allowed to dive in our immediate vicinity. So we dived the most iconic dive site in Panglao, the northern reef wall with the school of sardines.
It's sad to think that my freediving adventure in the Philippines has come to a close for the time being. I was really enjoying my time there. I was really enjoying my training there. I'll definitely be back as soon as I can! :)

Wow! You're spending your community quarantine in Dumaguete. We are on our 3rd week lockdown here in Manila (not aloud to go out except to buy food and other necessities. You're lucky 😊 stay safe, enjoy the fruits, veggies, seafood and local dishes. Sun and salt kills the virus, so its better to be at the beach more often than in the city. God bless

Ela Estioko Good Morning from Valencia, Dumaguete Ella, yes the home grown produce and seafood is unreal, supporting the local economy also, we just been hit with the permit system where only one out the household is allowed to get groceries, medication etc...so no more Dauin beech runs, I got friends in Manila and feel your pain, both Manila and Makati were always going to feel the brunt of the lockdown before the rest of us. Do what you need to do to stay positive and focused, it will soon pass and we will be back to normal soon. God Bless my friend 🙏🏻

Glad you made it home my youtube mentor😊. I'm a local here in Panglao where you stayed recently. I learned a lot of freediving techniques from your YT videos and used it in my daily living as a local spearfisher here. Was hoping to meet you but the time doesn't come along coz of the crisis. Thank you for visiting our place, till next time😉!

It's a great blessing to get locked down in this kind of environment: where we live in a stress-free surroundings, living the simplest and basic way of life, connected with nature & it's taken-for-granted wonders, worry nothing but the current situation...., and above all, treasure life one day at a time.

It was very unusual! haha He had a letter from me saying that he was there to pick it up and I arranged with the airline that they would give it to him when he arrived.

@@AdamFreediver Under normal circumstances, they would require you to get a lawyer to notarize your letter to make sure it really came from you.
