That was really informative. Thanks for taking the time, Angela.

Ah, seems RX7 is the answer to the question I'd asked before about mouth noises! Thank you!
@YourSoundStudios3 жыл бұрын
Yes, only now it's RX-9.

Also, if you purchase the elements version when it goes on sale you will be offered the opportunity to upgrade for a fraction of the full price and you will save money even including the elements purchase. For example, I purchased elements for $30 which is 1/3 of its normal price and then was offered the opportunity to upgrade to standard for $99 and it normally sells for $400.

I do not know the frequency of the offer I only know that I am not the only one that got it. I do know that I owned elements for a few months before the email came in. It could be an annual, or semi annual offer.

At what level do you record the voice, peak at -6dbs or -12dbs?
@VoiceOverAngela9 ай бұрын
Typically the volume level at recording is between -18 & -12db for me.

This was so helpful! It was great to watch the process all the way through. Thanks for being so giving with your process. I did have a quick question - the only place I am able to set up my studio, I'm realizing there is a constant drone (I think from the pipes for the water so I'm unable to ever stop it) - is this something that will be a problem or since it is a constant and even sound will this be easily edited out? Don't know how I didn't notice this before!

Hi! Thanks for watching! You can reduce most noises, if you have the ability to isolate a specific noise and reduce it in your DAW, you can do that as well.

Hi Angela, I would love to know what your presets are set to, how you came about choosing the settings and if you have any previous videos that may help with that.
@VoiceOverAngela3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tia! I have this video which talks about presets a bit but my settings might be different from yours, as the need would change from mic to room to voice. But take a look at this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6C4g4KqlrVmeK8

@@VoiceOverAngela Thank you so much. This was super helpful. I definitely understand that my settings will be different than yours but was curious how you came to your perfect configuration. I see that you mentioned Tim Tippets. I had been thinking about signing up for the course and reaching out to him about my configuration as well. This really lets me know that I should do that. :)

@@tiamariebeverly oh yes, this combination came from plenty of trial and error. The EQ preset that Tim made for me was huge, his course in the ins and outs of Audition definitely helped.

Very helpful. Cannot afford all the Izotopes so are there ways to do almost the same things in Adobe Audition?
@VoiceOverAngela3 жыл бұрын
Audition has some great effects too, I'll have to investigate some good alternatives for plugins ;)
