My Volvo V70 has Died

Sam.. How did u fit that S60 bumper?? Any videos?? Been toying with this idea for a wee while now.. Much prefer S60 front.. Any help would by appreciated.. 🙂

You're right. These engines are really strong, but this type of failure can happen to any engine, iv got a suspicion that something has blocked the oil gallery to that bearing.

Sam could you do a video on the engine in & out?? looking on taking mine out soon for the first (never done it before) Really enjoy V70 content, like rocking horse shit these days haha

Cheers for your comment 👍 yes there will be a video coming soon, I swapped the engine at the weekend, it's not quite finished yet, I'm hoping to finish it off in the next couple of days, then the video will hopefully be out shortly after. 👍

What kind of bumper do you have on the v70? Looks like a v50 bumper and grille?

It's an 05-09 s60 face-lift front bumper with an MS look design front lip/spoiler

@@samwel69 do you know what needs to be modified to mount a s60 bumper? Or is it plug and play? It looks great!

@maartengiel if you have a face-lift v70 05-08 then it should fit straight on, I had to modify my crash bar because mine is a pre-face-lift
