My VR6 AUDI A3 gets a MUFFLER DELETE! Time to get LOUD!

Mike get rid of that resonator at @1:53 the one on the left right after the cat it makes the exhaust sound like a regular V6 when you remove it you get your classic “VR6” exhaust note. When I had mine I did the same thing you did and removed the muffler and was like why the ef doesn’t this sound like a VR

BDGARAGE on the money. That resonator on the 1st 3 cylinders is messing with the exhaust pulses reaching the Y at equal intervals on each side which messes with the sound. Makes it sound more like a triple or V6 firing order than the I6 firing order which the VR6 has. Always hated that about the A3 and TT 3.2 exhaust design.

You can really tell how much justin cares not just about how his work looks on camera, but he cares about his work being up to, and beyond the standard his customers have. He takes a ton of pride in his work and you can see that in the exhaust he made on jimmy oakes e36 exhaust, and in this video where hes making really good looking just muffler deletes for a random audi a3 daily

One thing about the stock muffler is that it fits really well in that hole. They do that to create a smooth underside which helps for mpg.

you have to do a stage 1 and a dsg tune for farts when changing gears. Nice car do an RS3 front bumper or grill.

I have a Stage 1+ tune and DSG tune on mine. Doesn't make "farts".

bigger single exit tip would look better imo. and it makes a bit deeper and less raspy tone too. I don't know, but the twin tips looks goofy if they are that far away from each other. and also if sticking out too much. it doesn't match with the current style and looks of the car.

Shouldve left the suitcase muffler and just done a downpipe and resonator delete. That really brings out the vr6 sound minus the raspyness. For quicker shifts just get a stage 1 tcu tune and your good to go. Otherwise i love it!!! #8pGang

Recommend changing thermostat and thermostat housing also get a aluminum crack pipe and change your dsg fluid if it hasn’t been done

(Not sure how many miles are on the car) Make sure to check the fluid in the DSG. The early DSGs tend to be a bit rough when not maintained. Also, you will have to change the thermostat and coolant temperature sensor eventually.

Needs some intake noise. Needs a good cone to get those throaty intake sounds 😍 but I dig it. I have an old 12v and it sounds way better with a cone on at MAF than an actual intake. IDK about yours though.

The 3.2 from audi isnt a vr6, its just a normal V shape and the vr6 is a flate block design.

3.2 in the A3 is the VR6 - same car as a mk5 R32. The 3.2 in the A4, 5, 6 is a traditional V6.
