@@broEye1 That's a bit discriminating against Yakuza. They're not all like that. Just the fact that they separated her from her toxic mom as well as telling her what was right from wrong says that they're probably more of the brotherhood / white hat debt collector type of Yakuza you'd see in some media. As happy as I am with the ending, I just hope that the MC took measures for the sake of raising his daughter. As a result of her mothers bad parenting she too developed a bad personality. It was nice seeing her get disciplined, but the MC as a father shouldn't take what the daughter says to heart knowing what her mother did. It seems like he's somehow aware of how she's doing, maybe I'm missing something (I write these hours after I watch the video), and he does have custody, but seeing the lack of the daughter at the wedding makes me think otherwise. Happy to see the MC get happily married with the FMC, she was really great. Nice story

@@GwynethRoseCliff personally, we did not see the divorce trial so we don’t even know if he fought for it secondly, even if he did, it would probably still be granted to the mother, since she doesn’t look unfit from a character perspective. Especially if the daughter had a choice, she would’ve said her mother said they share a lot of the same characteristics at the time of looking back at the credit card statements. The mother had spent a lot of time and bought two of everything one in a smaller size in order to fit her daughter on top of that that only do they seem very attached. The mother could also pull up on that. He works long hours in definitely could’ve gotten him no custody whatsoever on top of child support. So I don’t really see a world where he could’ve feasibly gotten that.

I might be late to this, but I got a good afterstory: Over time, the daughter started to miss her father more and more. One day, she was trying to swipe some cookies from a jar and the yakuza leader's wife caught her. She was nice enough to let her have one though, but the daughter couldn't eat it as she teared up. She told the wife that she remembered when her father made her cookies for her birthday, and it was here she regretted being so mean to him. The wife hugged her tightly, saying she still has time to make amends considering how young she is. Cut to a few years later, she is doing well in high school and got her license. The first thing she does with it is drive to her father's house. She sees him with his now pregnant new wife. She apologizes for how she acted and says she wants to make him proud of her, even if he doesn't forgive her. He hugs his daughter tightly, happy that she learned the error of her ways. The two of them cry tears of joy knowing that they can be in each other's life again. Meanwhile, the new wife thinks to herself that her child will have a good half sister.

I have mixed feelings about today’s episode I mean aside from having the queen of all golddiggers pretty much teach the emcees daughter, how to also be a worthless Golddigger the little girl, really didn’t do anything wrong? I mean, she still just a kid in the MC more or less just abandon her to her worthless mom just to prove a point I mean, I know that at that moment he couldn’t do anything without having to bail out his ex-wife, but he should’ve found someone moment where he could at least came to save his daughter. Especially since now that she knows, living life like mommy does will only get you harassed by bad people she’d be more willing to listen to her dad and follow his way of life.

This is what I hate about these anime stories. For some reason, it's always a girl who's a brat and when the guy went on revenge mode, the child will also be neglected by him. Like dude, part of the reason why the child is a brat is because you're such a pushover. Forgetting your responsibility to your minor child is a dick move. It's a good thing that the debt collectors actually cared enough to teach her good manners because both her parents didn't bother to.

Man, look at those biceps on Konomi at 12:00! The fact that she's so strong now that she can lift a steel beam is impressive, even when wearing that flashy dress! But at least the debt collectors are reeducating Aila into learning proper manners, so they're probably not all bad, despite their tough exterior. But now I want to see a sequel or epilogue where, years later, Aila reappears in her father's life, now a proper young lady. She gets down on her knees and genuinely apologizes for her selfish behavior as a kid. Yutaka accepts her apology, and introduces her to Shiori and their young daughter, whom Aila finds adorable. She is thrilled at the idea of being a big sister and teaching her new sibling on how to be a proper lady. But Konomi, still as greedy and selfish as ever, tries to force her way back into Yutaka's life so she can continue to take advantage of him and pay off her remaining debts, only to be shot down by him. She'd end up getting a verbal beatdown by Yutaka, Shiori, their daughter, and especially Aila. She'd end up running away, but the debt collectors catch up with her again and force her to get back to work.

Divorce can be tricky afaik. Last I've heatd, with regard to proceedings, kids generally automatically get put under the mother's custody, depending on the circumstances of course. Though in some cases, the child can also decide which parent they would like to live with. I'd think that Aila in this case may have also chosen to live with the mom and with Konomi's further influence, may have said in the court that she didn't want to be with her dad. With that revelation, the MC was also under depression after the divorce was finalized and it was even mentioned in the story that it took him focusing a lot on work for him to slowly snap out of it. Still, the details of the divorce proceedings wasn't fully expounded in the story, so things may have happened differently. That's just my 2 cents on why MC was unable to fight for Aila's custody.

This is what we cll in Brazil "SAP", which means "Síndrome da Alienação Parental", which is when one of the parents start using the child as a psichological weapon against the other. Finally his ex-wife got what she deserved for the way she behaved and how irresponsible she was. I'm just angry for leaving his child in the care of this woman, it's not the girl's fault that their parents don't get along and she was poorly brought up by the mother, after all "children are a reflection to their parents", he should have taken her with him. After all, she's only six years old, what do children know about right and wrong, which only shows that he's a failure as a father, one thing marriage, but it is different when it comes to our own children. I hope that the man realizes what a mistake he has made and that he does not think of creating new children when he has not committed himself to those who has, otherwise it does not make him a better parent than her mother. 😡😠😤

@@bunnnali "SMACK" Are you kidding me? The husband is not obligated to raise someone else's baby especially in divorce when it is clearly stated that the mother and daughter does not want him anymore cause of money. That is the biological father's job. If the father knew about this before getting married and knows that he will be an adopting father that's a different story. The story ended that she is in re education camp not got sent back to "her father".

@bunnnali you can't dye an eye. Her mother allowing her to dye her hair in a young age is very sus. But then again, this is a very irresponsible entitled mother. Also you can convince a child that anyone can be the father does not mean they are. Again thats why she is in re reduction camp.

The problem I have with this one is leaving the kid behind. She was young enough to learn the difference and not a teenager close to 18. I get the feelings here because I've been through them, but leaving the kid behind is not the sign of a good parent. I get fighting that would be hard, but when it was clear she was in trouble, that's when he needed to step in. I can't honestly give a like on this one.
