I hate how Hugie gets R worded and they had Starlight, who was also assaulted, victim blame him. Itd be understandable if like alot of this show it was a political commentary but considering it usually only attacks extreme rights while this is a common extreme left issue and comments made outside the show by the producer about episode 6 I dont think it is and its just revolting. Im glad its on its final season because if it were longer I couldn't continue supporting it.

Without seeing Gen V, all of the backstory of the Supe killing drug, the characters that took Frenchie away in the van(The guy that Komiko punched with no effect and the girl that whispered in Frenchie's ear) is lost on you. (Like Newman's husband. You meet him in Gen V). It's obvious that they will be characters in the last Boys season and you know nothing about them. It's like watching Avengers Infinity War/Endgame, but missing 3or 4 of the Marvel movies that went before it. Yes, you will still like the movie but you will miss the meaning of a lot of the dialogue. Remember... Weather they say it or not, the creators WANT you to watch BOTH series in order to get the FULL story. And you can be sure that the next chapter of this story will NOT be The Boys season 4... It will be GEN V season 2!

Overall not a fan of S4. It’s pretty clearly the weakest of the 4 seasons. It just can’t stop with the political commentary. Yes it’s always been there but it never was made so plot focused like it was this season. It usually was just an off the cuff line or setting that didn’t really matter but the entire 4th season feels like it’s poking fun at real life politics. I don’t care whether you’re left or right it’s just too on the nose about it. I’m hoping it’s better in S5 but based on the fact that the political party that Homelander is clearly supposed to represent actually won IRL I doubt it’ll get any better.

yeah, I agree, I think season 4 of the Boys is my least favorite, I feel it is the weakness season in my opinion, I think the first 3 seasons were bangers, I think what made this season fall to the ground was Gen V (2023) I think it change the whole concept of season 4, I think episode 7 and 8 were the best of this season, this season got too political and too slow for me, but still my favorite show , it's rsnk at #1 still for me, good reaction.
