It was so nice to meet Val on Sunday test and tune. My son Giovanni is only 12. We talked to her about his getting a license and driving our 78 chevy nova project car. Hopefully it will be ready for next year's sick week. My son was very encouraged by taking to her and the sugar momma car is awesome in person. Val was extremely nice to talk to and we enjoyed our time at the track. OSW is our hometown track.

Hi Steve Great Video! I need to ask as a personal favor; Please Cover That Transmission so that you are isolated from any fluid that can get into the driver's compartment. a cover is a small price to pay to keep you safe and sound. Fire is only our friend if it is taking place in the cylinders or roasting Hotdogs. Stay safe!!

Time 1910 , the time honored GM hood latch won't pop. I used to take the seat belt end and hook it to the release handle if I didn't have someone to hold the release out as I push on the hood.

Those panels will be salvageable, will take a bunch of work with hammers and pullers, but I bet a good shop can make that look OK. Be easier with a donor car, but those are hard to find.

That wagon is my favorite drag car. 20 years ago I used to tease my then 6 year old that a Roadmaster Wagon would be his first car. I had an 96 Impala SS at the time. He hated the idea for 10 years+. Both of us would be elated to own (94-96) one now The paint on this one is just magnificent.
