I don't think so. I've seen and heard a lot of stories both on reddit/youtube and IRL, where the AP was friends with the cheated spouse. Surprisingly, they seem to not think of it as big of a deal, and in their minds, the part where they're friends with the cheated spouse and the part where they're fuckin' their friend's spouse are completely disconnected from each other. Sort of like "Oh well, the two of them have relationship problems, that has nothing to do with me, I'm just gonna enjoy myself, but this won't and shouldn't affect my friendship with this person, as long as they don't find out." Hard to believe, I know, that some people would gaslight even themselves so much.

What was his mistake? I believe that a lot of men make the same "mistakes" in relationships. I'm not sure If it's the love language being "wrong", but all of these cheating stories showcase the one and the same type of a woman. The one that needs to "handled", the one that wants a flirty playboy guy etc. She blushed when Andrew gave her a compliment. Who knows when was the last time the OP gave her one? Yes, he did support her, he did do stuff for her, but still. I'm not saying that he deserved it. Far from it. She is a lying cheating hoe, and nothing can change that. I just see that a lot of marriages fail because the man becomes lazy relationship-wise, thinking "Ehh, we're married now, we're a happy couple, I drew her in, I don't need to show affection 24/7 anymore". You don't get engage with them to receive infinite compliments or love-bombing, if you need that to keep "functioning" like a normal human being they just have low-selfsteem and it's a huge problem for any relationship regardless if it is romantical or not, marriage it's way more thant that and there are lots of more problem than emotional ones (at least on that degree). Why would i have to make everything perfect or put so much effort, giving her or him lots of attentions just to not get the worse thing that is cheating after i possible make a single mistake? It's nonsense, it is gaslighting from the cheater... The solution to this is to not rush things during the first phases of the relationship at least emotionally and actually put more effort on watching this red flags and act consecuencially to them but there isn't anything else you can do, just be careful... Maybe just desensitize to the point of not caring when it happens so it doesn't hurt that much... There are good women, i'm not from the USA and it's way different where i live but you have to keep focusing on yourself and your mental health...
