@maxheadroom-network23 I see, and you are correct-T Baker made the show his own. I also think the BBC erred in how they treated Pertwee's run. It was a knee-jerk reaction to all the money they were spending (making the show in colour and the "elaborate" sets they built) HA! They actually probably spent more filming on location and with all the nifty stuff they use (a hovercraft, a helicopter, etc) And I didn't mean I didn't like Tom-like you, I liked them all-especially the ones from my childhood

The part about the Holocron being stolen confused me too at first but then I realized at that point he is no longer taking about Kanan but Ezra. Ezra stole the Holocron from Kanan (if you remember) Speaking about remembering the first season. Those Scares Ezra has were indeed there for a long time because they are the Scares he got from the Grand Inquisitor in the finale of Season 1. Stuff like this and Kan's blindness (Battle scares that last) are also part of Rebels and I find it refreshing that they aren't fixed by some technology so that you don't realize they exist most of the time

The markings Kanan has on his mask are the same ones Rex had on his helmet in The Clone Wars. They’re called Jaig Eyes and they’re basically a mark of honor in the Mandalorian culture, clan leaders give them to soldiers for bravery. I’m guessing Sabine painted them on his mask.

Caleb Dume survived Order 66 as a Padawan when he was a teenager, so he took Obi-Wan's message about not coming back to the Temple and remaining hidden to heart and changed his name in order to better keep a low profile. Hera knows all this because, well, they've been running together for a while now and she knows him pretty well, and Maul simply read her mind after she lied to him about not knowing anything about where he keeps the Jedi holocron and all that. Season 1 and 2 already showed us that Kanan hadn't even attained the rank of Jedi Knight before the Empire fell and he had been struggling with the idea of teaching Ezra because he felt he didn't know enough himself, until he was finally knighted by a force vision in the Jedi temple in Lothal.

Man, The Secene in the Falling Station is my favourite scene in the whole show, the metaphorical representation of whats going on is so good. Most people just mentioned Kanan coming from "The Light" telling Ezra to "Let Go" because of the special sound effect, but is WAY MORE than that. I feel so much for Kanan and for Ezra. Ezra Blamed himself for what happened to Kanan and Ahsoka thinking she is dead. He was full of Guilt and Trauma with the encounter with Maul and Needed Kanan to guide him and be there, but Kanan retracted onto his own grief leaving Ezra all Alone with his Struggle and the Sith Holocron, no one else was there in Malacor so the other couldn't understand what Ezra was going through, so by Blaming Himself and Scare of losing a loved one he used the Sith Holocron to gain more knowledge and power for Love, but as we know, Dark Side is eassay but Dangerous, so, basically expaling why the scene is so good: The Falling station represents Ezra situation, when things went wrong he was crying out for Kanan but was nowhere to be found. The Station represents Ezra's Grief and Fears, he is Holding so hard to them to a point is making him fall to his own destruction, meannign the path down the dark side, but even though he is falling, when Kanan comes in he comes as the Light to help him out of the path, but Exra jolds so tight that he says "I can't reach you, you are too far" showing how his grip to what happened would keeo dragging him down, but when Kanan says "Let Go" Ezra chooses to let go of the Station, of his Fears and is able to be saved, he was falling, but atill in a place he could be Reached Only by Kanan. I have Drawn that scene before because of how much I love it. (I have explained it even further before in other videos about Rebels, but for that same reason I don't feel like explaining more details, but the point stands and could say more about it 😂)

According to the crew, 6 months have passed since Twilight of the Apprentice, Ezra has experienced a growth spurt since then, but I think he seems more mature, mostly because of the haircut and the shift in attitude. As other's have noted, Kanan's backstory has been expanded on in other media, and notably we see his experience of Order 66 in the Bad Batch's first episode. Also the Bendu is voiced by Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor from Doctor Who, who is a key contender for most beloved Doctor in the franchise. If you've seen Day of the Doctor, he also appeared as the Curator.

Actually Ezra did not use the Jedi Mind trick. He actually took control of the pilot's body telekinetically. We literally see Ezra motioning as if HE'S controlling the walker. That's NOT the Jedi Mind trick. that's simply telekinesis.

S3-1 was such a good episode and renewed my faith in Rebels… then they immediately ruined it by immediately throwing away all that tension of Ezra possibly falling to the dark side. That would have been so interesting to see.

Just as Obi-Wan took on a new name to hide from the Empire, so did Caleb Dume. He was 14 when Order 66 occurred. He met Hera nearly a decade later. I didn't particularly enjoy the book or the writing style of the author and had issues with inaccuracies in it, but "A New Dawn" goes into their meeting.

Ezra is one of the best star wars characters. He is one of the characters that "The Path of the Hero" is best handled in my opinion

How dare Kanan get thrown out into space and use the Force to get himself back! That's totally unacceptable! Even the daughter of Anakin can't do that without ridicule!

What Ezra did to the walker crew goes against the Jedi code. Typically they are not supposed to influence people to kill others or kill themselves. Yes, Governor Pryce is heavily inspired from Irina Spalko from Indy 4 although her face is a little more oriental looking. Personnality and haircut match, though. The Bendu is NEUTRAL Thrawn is a mix between a military Sherlock Holmes and Belisarius (famous Byzantine general who was a master strategist).

Thrawn will become one of your favorite characters as he's so intelligent. He plays chess while everyone else is playing checkers, he's almost always 10 steps away of everyone else. And as you mentioned, in the mandalorian with Ahsoka, she mentions Grand Admiral Thrawn. I may be alone in my opinion of this but I honestly dont really like Bendu, a talking, force wielding, space moose who repeats the fact he's in the middle over and over again. It gets pretty annoying after awhile.

Okay here's my thing. WHY is Ezra "the little punk." for stepping up when his Master pretty much abandoned him?? For actually telling Kanan he's not doing his duty AS a Master?? No; if a teacher flakes on you and you then call them out, that doesn't make you the little punk. It makes Kanan "the big punk." Because that's what he did to Ezra. He punked him out. Just up and disappears when Ezra needs him the most He hasn't even expressed even the smallest interest in how Ezra's doing; as Hera actually told him. You can't just expect Ezra to just get over it and be all fine with being abandoned.
