Thank you man! I was stuck at getting my window into position since the wire was causing tension. Didn't think to cut it, but thanks to you that wire is cut and I'm continuing to replace.

I just did this on my 07 bmw 328i on the rear driver side window and it worked for about two weeks before I ended up having the same issue again. Window now doesn’t wanna go up after putting it down. Doesn’t make the exact same noise as before though, any ideas ??
