In January of this year (2024) I took delivery of a ‘55 Nomad which I got in a trade. I’m guessing at least 30 years ago it got torn apart for new floors, rockers and tailpan. Then it sat. And sat. AND sat. It passed through 3, maybe 4, owners and never got put back together. My point? Time goes by SO FAST and you’re looking at your unfinished project(s) and then they never get done. My unsolicited opinion and advice is get rid of Nova’s 4 through 8 and concentrate on the ones you know you can get to the finish line. LOVE the channel, content, humor, etc. I’m still cheering for the 4-to-2 door conversion Nova.

Yeah. I’m gonna do something to all of the ones I get rid of. Whether it’s a full build or minimal work. The 4 door is coming along.

Great Update! Thanks for the video. :) Have you thought about shaving the drip rails on any of your projects? I have seen it done on plenty of different cars and I've seen the finished product on a Nova but I have never seen someone show how they did it on a Nova. If I have an extra Nova without paint or 8.5, I might try my hand at it. :) Keep up the great work, glad you're back. You're the only guy on YT that actually has knowledge and shows the work for Novas.

Great stuff. Love novas. I just Did a small block to big block heater core conversion, the big block heater core was 2” thick so had to shim it up a bit with foam on the ends of the core. Hope this will be ok. Needed to get the heater hose necks out further on the firewall cover to connect the hoses. Ever see this issue?
@Shop20919 күн бұрын
Hmm. Possibly a generic heater core from rock auto or something. I ordered one that I didn’t use because it seemed wrong. Found a correct one.
