Good to see Ho portrayed in this manner However, I am from the Volta Region and I must say the monkey forest and Agomatss what is commonly known as Eli waterfall has nothing to do with Ho Ho as the administrative capital Is on its way gradually but at a Very low space

@@Ichbinselig Well….Kumasi and Accra both have close to 5 million inhabitants each. Ho is like 200,000 people even if that so obviously it’ll be cleaner.

I don't think the size of the population should make a city dirty or neat, it is the lifestyle and mindset of the people living there. I lived in Ho for 6 years and I always say that Ho is the neatest city I have ever been to. I remember the first time my siblings came home without our dustbin and said the dumpster is full and the watchman there asked them to leave the dustbin there and they will empty it when the zoom Lion car comes ,they will go back and find the dustbin empty. This happened several times.

Example most Foreign countries like U S or Canada, any place of a population more than a 30k is a city or a small city and in some other countries with the same population or even a bit more or a bit less is a town or small city, so in Ghanas standard Ho (~ 188k pop) is a City because it has most institutions infrastructure services of a city can or must have. I have been to Ho twice, I am Ashanti. I have been to many regions. Ho is a nice place, peaceful and transportation in between areas are the best so far I have seen in most other cities in Ghana. The camera did capture the beauty well. Very clean city , population low, and they ain't much tall buildings , and all the nice buildings are government or commercial buildings. Tricycle is their major medium of transportation, I feel.close to nature anytime I get there. It isn't as beautiful as Accra and Kumasi, but they are neat with what they have. If I am government worker and my salary is constant no matter where I choose to live, I will be at HO.

as a growing city, it needs taller, more beautiful avant-garde type buildings, like an egg house, ship house etc, those kinds of infrastructure. And their airport must be functional to facilitate trade, tourism etc. Their authorities must be visionary and working hard to sell their city/region

I really want to see more about Eastern region of Ghana the mountains. There is a town called Manpong, the first Coco tree was planted in that town and hospital. Ho can be better. It seems like Asantes are the only people in Ghana who keeps building their cities. Most people from other parts of Ghana all want to move to Accra. Leaving their hometowns development behind. Voltarians should start building Ho and leave Accra alone.

Some of the criteria you mentioned may or may not apply in other countries else we wouldn't have places like *London, New York, Johannesburg, Berlin, Beijin or Tokyo* called metropolitan cities and you also have places like *Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu or Abuja also called Metropolitan cities* . There is no way same criteria would be applied for all the settlements mentioned.

Los Angeles, though, has large population is not densely populated. There a lot of African cities that qualify as Metropolitan. Why give examples of non-African, and only throw in Lagos. I have a beach house in Wilmington, NC. It has a population of 170,000, it is considered as a metropolis because of its sophistication and many many surronding suburbs. You sound very condescending.
