Interesting seeing the braid being attached. Didn’t know it would stretch. Obviously, I’ve never sewn it into anything.☺️ Also, never worked with snap tape. Looked to be a tricky process in a cuff. Slip stitching is probably the way to go since it’s not likely going to need to be removed very often. Amazing project. Thanks for sharing your fabulous coat!

Wow another exceptional result Getting all those darts to match up at the centre back is no mean feat and they are lovely Good for you Marie I think it warrants a fine (for fit) silk (smoothness) and cashmere (warmth) sweater It’s beautifully made and a lovely colour to Kudos to you

Really loved the dress/coat.. The color and fur pieces made it more for winter.. But without adding those it very nice.. I took advantage of your mentioning WAWAK as a supplier and made an order with them.. Thanks and keep the videos coming I enjoy them immensely.

It looks lovely. I did this three years ago - to fit over a blazer- but am not as far along on my sewing journey so I did it a bit different. Recently tackled a few improvements including a faux fur collar. The cut edges shed worse than my cats 🤣

Another wonderful choose-your-own-adventure with Marie! This is really beautiful and makes me think of Snow White! A whole lot of work and adapting as you go, but totally worth it. Would’ve been just as lovely as a dress. It’s almost like a game…upping the stakes by not reading the instructions and seeing what you come up with😂😂 As usual, a fabulous success! ❤

Well that's a hit! The knockout variety. :-) Why not make yourself another that is sized up to be a "real" coat? How about in red? It, and you, just oozes old-style vintage Christmas movie star glamour! This was an excellent project to take us through from a technical/technique sewing perspective too. If you ever get an urge to do other "lots of darts and pleats and, and, and" vintage patterns count me as a vote in favour.

Pretty coat!! However, all that work in a poly fabric, such a shame. If done in wool, everything would have hung better. Very ambitious
