Honestly, 2:38 is what got me. Its like watching the last recorded life moments of some deceased family member. The true fans won with them as they gave us 5 Amazing albums from Bullets to Conventional Weapons. They Stayed true to themselves, pushed the envelope, never compromised & played every live show as if it was their last. Thank You MCR for staying dirty, Bringing Your Bullets, firing your ray guns & leading a parade of jocks, preps, posers, shy, awkward, weird, kids to become a family of one. The Idea lives on & will never be forgotten.

from my theory, bob departure mostly because of how bad their progress in making new album which cause him and mikey start taking drugs...gerard scraps all 2 complete album before danger day and his health wasn't the best since joining mcr...i think he and mikey was given times to cures themself which mikey did and he dont, which affect his position in band and his view on mikey...and mikey got back to his drug addiction after mcr was disband..if his attitude was the main cause of his departure, than he should been kicked out earlier...if you follow his journey with mcr, he was the one who got most of the serious injury and he willing to join mcr concert as tech for free before joining mcr...

When you see a retrospective of their work like this you realise how great they were at what they did. Music videos like The Ghost of You just don't happen anymore. Musicians don't make videos like that anymore. They were true visionaries. I wish them all the best and I sincerely hope things didn't end badly between the guys.

we have had almost a year of thinking MCR is completely over, and now we have been given one last song Personally I am so thankful as I never thought I would ever hear new MCR material ever again. I'm not going to be over dramatic here, but i can safely say after ten years of listening to these guys its sad to see them go, Bought Three Cheers the day it was released after seeing the video for Helena, i had never heard anything like it before and still listen to the album today as it was the first album that i truly fell in love with, its good to see them end on a high and it was great seeing the band evolve and grow along with myself. I like thinking about that year 2004 while listening to this song, the three cheers album represents that year along with other albums of the time that shaped my musical taste, its just one of those years that sticks with you for life, those teenage years, those memories you have attached to a band or song, that's what i see when im listening to this song, the good times and the ones yet to come....... I haven't listened to MCR since I was a little emo middle schooler, and this popped up in my suggestions today. I listened to the whole song and I felt it the whole way through. I couldn't understand how I ever got so emotional over a band/song until now. I feel exactly the same as I did when I found out they broke up. I can't believe I ever turned my back on this band. Congratulations MCR, you hooked in an old follower. Now it's time to go dust off some CD's and listen to those all night.
