5/5/2023 what a looker. never seen one complete. We have a 39 series 60 that because ww2, they cut the body off just behind the front seat and put a wood box on the back to use as a pick up truck. my father got it back in the late 40s. i ask my dad why the chopped the car up, he said, in ww2 farmers had no truck. so they made their own. it has a complete dash and interior, and the complete front clip, no moter, but we have one for it. now with rat rods, i need to find a convertable body and put our front end on it. great car, great program.. SAVE old classics.

I own a car similar to this, it was part of Cadillac's junior Marque, a 1938 LaSalle Series 50. Only differences being the seats are cloth instead of leather, the sidemount covers are different and it is in rougher shape.

My thoughts exactly. This was when Cadillac and America made you proud,makes you wonder how they went so wrong. A Cadillac today ain't got no soul. They look all the same IMO.

It would be nice to know what the price of that Cadillac was in 1939. Probably less than $5000.00?
@leadonsteel2 жыл бұрын
I know your comment is a few months old but I found the original MSRP, approx $2,195. Adjusted for inflation that would be approx $45,654 in todays money.

Nice video. Question I saw on one of your shows of a one person machine shop in Pennsylvania. He fabricated parts for cars. Can you please provide me with his name ? Or any cnc machine shop in the NY tristate area. Thank you 🙏
