Ok so little explanation. Stray Kids are 8, formely 9 but one of the member left for personnal raison and is now in a solo carrier. Like you said they were formed by a survival show in 2017 but it was a special survival show because the leader (Bangchan who was a trainee for 7 years in JYP) chose the members that he wanted to debut with him. After choosing them, they went to the survival show to see if the 9 of them were ready to debut together. They don't really have positions in the group but some members are really good at some things in particular. Stray Kids are a self produced group. At the beginning the leader and two other members were in a small hip hop unit as trainee and that unit composed of them 3 are the lyricist, composer, producer and even arranger of all the group's discography. The only song that they didn't made was created by the dance line of the group. The group is known for their rap line and their performance. The members like in BTS have each very distinct voices and styles. Their music talks about many things that are pretty deep and improtant such as mental health, discovering who you are, dreams, depression and many more. They are from one of the big 3 (JYP) but for years were considered like a failure from the big company, they weren't on a lot of shows, didn't have very good promotion, weren't very popular and etc. They only gained popularity and recognition from their God's Menu era. The name Stray Kids means a lot to them, they also have the slogan Stray Kids everywhere all around the world, You make Stray Kids stay. The leader Chan said in a concert that it doesn't mean that them as Stray Kids would be everywhere all around the world but that everyone who feel lost (stray) can join them and feel accepted with them. Now here is some information about the members: Bang Christopher Chan: called Chan, Bangchan or Chris is Australian and was born in 1997 (the same year as JK) He is a singer, rapper, dancer, lyricist and the main producer of the group he is credited for over 102 songs on KOMCA. Lee Minho: stage name Lee Know is korean and was born in 1998, he is the lead dancer of Stray Kids, singer and sub-rapper. He is credited for 9 songs on KOMCA. He was a back up dancer for BTS before being in Stray Kids. Seo Changbin: He was born in 1999, he is the main rapper of the group (currently one of the fastest rapper in kpop), a singer and the main lyricist and composer of Stray Kids. He is credited for over 94 songs on KOMCA. Han Jisung: He was born in 2000, he is the main rapper, singer and main lyricist and composer in the group with over 89 credits on KOMCA. Hwang Hyunjin: He was born in 2000, he is one of the main dancers, rapper and singer. He is credited for 9 songs on KOMCA Lee Felix: He was born in 2000, he is also one of the main dancers, rapper and singer of the group. He is credited for 10 songs on KOMCA. Kim Seungmin: He was born in 2000, he is the main vocalist in Stray Kids. He is credited for 9 songs on KOMCA. Yang Jeongin: stage name I.N, he was born in 2001, he is a vocalist and the maknae of Stray Kids. He is credited for 10 songs on KOMCA. The group is also known for being the group with the most fair line distribution in Kpop. The fandom name is Stay. There is so much more to say but I think it's a good introduction for the beginning. They have a dance practice to this song, I highly suggest watching their dance practices bc they have honestly some of the best dancers. Hyunjin (long blonde hair) is definitely an amazing performers. He has a few self choreographed dances and also he was Artist of the Month last month. Lee Know is so technically amazing and Felix is definitely talented. They make up Danceracha, the dance line .

- Back Door is kind of a sequel to God's Menu, so if/when you watch GM, you'll notice that a lot of elements carried through to Back Door -- the scientists, the schoolgirls (who are SKZ's dongsaeng group Niziu), etc. There are also more obscure elements that tie this into the overarching SKZ main Korean storyline (like the guy wandering around in the background when SKZ disappear through the back door at the end), but unlike a lot of the vids, the storyline elements are relatively few in this one, so Back Door is actually a good mv to start with in terms of not wondering what all the random details mean. Also, the semi-sequel to God's Menu and Back Door is Thunderous, although there the continuity is more in sound and song structure than in visual elements. - The survival show was hell. But fwiw, they weren't actually created through the show. They're the only group in the industry to be self-created (at age 19, Chan chose every member himself), so once they formed themselves, they went to the company and said, "Ok, we're ready," and the survival show was just the nine of them (at the time there were nine; one has since left) being brutally tested to prove they were ready to debut together. So even their survival show was different than the ones other groups go through. - The one with the leopard stripe on his pants and whose voice you like is Seungmin. Although SKZ has no official positions, he's part of Vocalracha (3RACHA is the official producing sub-unit, and Vocalracha and Danceracha are fandom-named sub-units for the other members) and often referred to as "main vocalist" even though that's not technically a thing in SKZ. Which is something to remember: no matter how many times you see mention of "main dancer" or "subrapper" or whatever, literally the only official position in SKZ is leader; all eight members are singers, dancers, rappers, and visuals, and positions were removed from the group because the members move around to do what they want and what suits each song. - I'm going to leave it to others to suggest more songs (at least for now). SKZ have over 130 songs already (and the Christmas mini album is dropping next week, and the repackage of NOEASY should be coming soon), they don't make skippable songs, and I'm one of those people who suffers at the thought of all the brilliant non-title tracks that always get overlooked. So if I jump on that soapbox, you really will end up with the entire discography list (I legit have a spreadsheet). My only recommendation for now is that you don't listen only to the title tracks and main b-sides. Some of their best work is the stuff that's buried in the unpromoted b-sides and that only hardcore Stays will usually mention. Also, don't disregard the SKZ-Player and SKZ-Record projects people recommend. While these are unofficial releases by single members and various small combos of members, they absolutely factor into SKZ's discography and are representative of their enormous diversity (plus, almost all of them are still produced by Chan). - Thank you for your reaction and enthusiasm. Though there are various theories, essentially there's the main Korean storyline (which has two parallel universes/timelines, and SKZ split into two versions in the very first predebut mv, "Hellevator," with one set of SKZ taking the "easy," approved path and the other set of SKZ striking out on the "hard" road to forge their own way). Then there's the Japanese storyline (which also has two parallel universes/timelines/versions of SKZ, as the Japanese storyline is kind of a...reflection/copy of the main Korean storyline). And then there's the Mixtape storyline, which is (mostly) separate from, or at least the most distant from, the main Korean storyline and the Japanese storyline. Except that SKZ like to mess with us, and Chan is the world's sweetest evil genius, so sometimes elements of the parallel universes leak into each other. And as of "Scars," the latest Japanese release, it appears that for the first time all five universes are interacting. Which is why hardcore Stays watched that video while making lists of all the crossover elements and quietly sobbing as our brains melted. Anyway, it's all confusing as hell, no one 100% agrees on everything, and SKZ refuses to spill (although they did give us a highlights video to sort of sum things up a while back, and we've collected bits of info from hints they drop in vlives and whatnot). Oh, and most of the trailers/unveils are also part of the storyline(s), so they aren't skippable if you decide to start from the beginning with "Hellevator" and try to follow the lore as it unfolds. Even the trailer that just dropped a couple days ago for next week's Christmas release is a direct continuation of the previous album trailer and ties into the storyline (albeit somewhat goofily because, y'know, Santa Claus).

Check out more stray kids they are amazing i recommend checking out God's Menu its a prequel to Back Door. Then Easy, thunderous and cheese. Stray kids are a self producing group meaning they write their own lyrics and produce their own beats, 3racha (Bangchan, Changbin, Han) are the main producers and about over 100 credited songs each credited towards them.

Here is my view on it ~ I was excited for their new repackaged album ‘IN LIFE’ I can hardly contain myself, I really don’t know where to start it looks like they’re trying to steal something from museum and OMG getting attacked from so many directions from all of them especially my biases. Everytime I think the song will somehow connects to their previous ones, it always seems to change and im not going to lie this catchy upbeat ruff with new unique ‘untitled’ sound like a combination of jazz & broadway tempo that remind me of a few of their songs within their Clè album series like a “Back Door” to their jungle city and simple terms the meaning is no matter who or where you’re from they invite you with open hands through the back door which always seems to be hard to get in #StrayKids #BackDoor

I’m a huge army and they’re definitely my favorite group basically ever… but there’s def a lot of incredible groups in kpop. I’m newer to stray kids but here very different from bts from what I’ve seen… there is amazing visuals, songs, videos and members…. The dancing is really cool as well…. But I didn’t have any issue with understanding the music message or videos. A lot of them remind me of kinda anthem songs a lot but not all the songs of course… but their music is so fun and def have a lot of kinda dance sounding music but def cool to see what you guys get into. The members seem sweet and fun and one of them I know posts stuff on like KZbin with other members and they watch a bunch of other kpop music videos or performances and stuff and just appreciate and vibe. I’ve seen him watching bts stuff and they actually covered a bts song I think…. He is a huge fan of jungkooks song “euphoria” but he seems really down to earth and a kind positive dude
