what's the best way to store your anchor in the car. It's not large but it's heavy and it occupies unnecessary amount of cargo space for something that you will not need in normal circumstances?

no sand bag on the cable... when you are stuck and your cable is stressed and you are standing next to the cable...POP the cable snaps and slings itself right at your head, depatitating you!!! NICE one..safety first..

It would be more convincing if you had gotten your vehicle REALLY stuck before trying to winch it out... Of course, not all sands behave the same way... I've found that it is a lot easier to get stuck in the large grain loosely packed stuff...

its good to have such a tool but you do not show the details of how to fix it .the video is very short .it will be nice to make another one show us how to fix it and how to keep it deep and what are the distance and the risk of this anchor .cheer.

ChrisYanicki??? what has the equipment on his 4x4 got to do with anything?? the video is to demonstrate how to use a ground anchor in sand! dont let your jealously take over, obviously you need a winch and a ground anchor, if you have neither then I suggest you invest in a shovel and make a video on how to remove a stuck vehicle without any equipment

your car was not even stuck in sand, so it was too easy for the anchor to pull it out, try it again with a stuck vehicle and let us see how well it handle the situation.

As many of the other comments state, you needed to bog your truck to show this. It's a pointless video if your just going to roll your truck in neutral on flat ground. In a hard pull, will that anchor dig in or just pull along in the top 25 cm of soft sand? Really...do the video again.

1. Wasn't even bogged (make it a bit of a challenge you were in the sand anyway.) 2. Standing next to the car while winching? Natural selection should occur in due course. 3.
