I worked for Sarah for 5 years. She came from nothing. To get in to Harvard Business School, She killed herself studying for the GRE for 2 years. She also killed herself studying in college. That is Sarah's "secret". Hard work. She is the most assiduous woman I've ever met. She is also one of the most generous people I've ever met. She paid for my entire family's health insurance when my husband lost his job and paid for my kid's soccer camp. The only thing bigger than her hustle is her heart.

Never seen this channel, and certainly never heard of Sarah Moore. 1 Hour later, I'm a huge fan of both. There's a lot of "success story" fluff you get forced to watch in business school, I wish I could make them add this to the curriculum. I also love how well she demonstrates that your value has nothing to do with your background, experience, or resources. What you're capable of achieving in this country is up to YOU and you alone. Kudos Sarah and thank you Shaan for getting her on the podcast!

And treats it like a positive sum game. Wealth is attracted to that. Nothing makes wealth melt away faster, than a corporation run by leadership that sees business as negative or neutral sum. It's positive sum. We continue to build infrastructure on top of previous infrastructure, and we continue to get more efficient. When we start sending ships into the cosmos (possibly after our lifespan), it's going to be the biggest economic revolution since the concept of the assembly line.

Her power and strength is a result of coming out the other side of such a life that was constant struggle. This maybe the best interview I've ever watched, not because of the financial gains she's made but because of the humanity and hope it inspires. Coming from a simular background, having some financial success myself. The most success I've been fortunate enough to achieve is speaking with previous employees with simular backgrounds that have come back to thank me for giving them my time and belief that they could be better than where they came from. I wish this woman nothing but success and hope some day I have a need for egg cartons so I can support her.

When I graduated, I figured I needed to overcome my education & the best way to do that was to start my own business. Sitting at a blank green ledger paper (before the advent of spreadsheets & personal computers, lol) it dawned on me I had NO IDEA how to set up the books. A graduate of that well-known Eastern business school & I was clueless. I could analyze any big business, but actually start/run a small business, had a long way to go. Just sat there laughing at myself. Again, great interview. Hope Sarah’s story inspires all sorts of new entrepreneurs!

This is an episode I'll watch over and over again when I need some realignment. Kudos to Sarah ofcourse, also to Shaan and team for getting her on here. Very difficult to get someone with a taste of freedom to budge, I can imagine how difficult it might have been.

Mad "Kudos!" to this gal. She clinched my affections at the end when she reiterated that 'equity' is a farce & that freedom-though the foundation of our nation-is actually quite costly. It seems even more so these past few years(!) Then, again, so is the potential payoff! Get'er doooone!

By far the best episode ever. Sarah is such a truly inspiring person. Beautiful soul, and very hard-working. Reminds me of Earth Nightingale saying that you will ALWAYS get paid what you put out, and eventually she sure did. Please make updates with Sarah. And all the respect to you Shaan very respectful and lovely listener.

Shaan - two episodes within a week with two females, YES!! Keep this up - one of the four female listeners (although I think you’re grossly underestimating the amount of female listeners you have, I know at least 20😂)

They can't even if they wanted to. Most women don't want that kind of stress and responsibility

Sarah Moore’s story is truly inspiring! The fact that she bought a multi-million dollar business with $0 and no experience is mind-blowing. Kudos to Sarah for her remarkable achievements!

This is what Dan Pena teaches. The trick is to find a profitable business with an owner willing to do a sellers note. Most understandably want to be paid upfront
