What a lovely person you are sir. You remind me of my grandfather. I've watched your videos and I feel joy and sadness at the same time. Much love and respect from the other side of the world Iran 🇮🇷

@@MrFactotum I didn't want to make my earlier comment to long. But here is a long story made very short. My grandfather worked for an British engineering company and because of his great performance he was gifted with a mayford ml7. He had it in his office for many years. Now I own it and I'm very grateful. Your videos are very helpful and explained in great detail. Thank you

What ho Mr F, In the olden days price was often a guide to quality but nowadays you cant be sure anymore. Even going for known name brands is no longer a guarantee, if a dodgy source is selling knock offs. The original belts on my Chester mill were rubbish, almost from new they caused knocking and shed rubber like a street racer. Continental brand from a local bearing supplier cured things for many years and weren't overly costly. Looking forward to part next. ATB c

hi chris yep, your spot on there, my moto is buy cheap, change more frequent if required, i'm not a total skinflint, but like value for money. Brand names, warranties, guarantees, promises and Insurance, arn't worth the paper there written on today. The clocks ticking on these belts so watch this space🤣🤣🤣 take care mr f
