Exactly thank you. In fact Azkanazi Jews and Sephardic Jew are genetically very similar. Azkanazi Jews and on average even have 5-10 percent North African. The only difference between Azkanazi Jews and Sephardic Jews is that Azkanazi minor Northern European dna while Sephardic Jews don’t. The rest of the dna is pretty much the same they are both predominantly Middle eastern and southern European.

They cannot be distinguished from non-jews of the same country. I can post my paper here when I publish. @@M4th3u54ndr4d3 I think because they separated from the rest of the Jewish people before the mass exhume (tribe of Dan) they probably just had more time to intermix with the local population, but that they definitely have jewish roots because unlike Igbo in nigeria who learned about Judaism after colonization Ethiopian Jews have been following the jewish faith for like 2000 years… they also didn’t celebrate Hanukkah (because the events of the Maccabee revolt happened after they parted from the rest of us) and thought they were the last Jews until a European Jew made contact in the 19th century

Also ashkenazi closest related populations are greeks, Italians and eastern Europeans. They were created with a handful of western Asian anatolian/iranic jews both converts and levantine and they then married European women and a few European males also converted as well.
