Do a search. He did not win The Singer in 2017. It was a 13 round competition to which he won like 4 rounds but only got runner up as he wasn't a native Chinese heritage. He won round 1 and that really got him recognition. He was the first competitor as he was considered a dark horse-not likely to win, as he was an unkown in China then.

Dimash was never on the "Voice"....it was the "I am Singer Show" which is by invitation only and for professional singers...you have a similar show in Korea, I forget the name at the moment...I suggest Dimash's MV Akkum "MY Swan"...it is on his YT channel...I think you will really enjoy this one......
