Dans ce spectacle elle est au summum de sa beauté, et il n'y a pas de surenchère visuelle comme dans les suivants, la musique est excellente, et on ne s'y ennuie pas une seule seconde. Her concert are impressive, but Mylène is also legendary for her cinematographic clips. You have a lot of things to see. In 1996 it was only her second Tour, so fans had been waiting for her return on stage for 7 years. For many of them it was the first time they had seen her. The connection she has with her audience is unique and unwavering for 35 years. Her texts and her personality touch people deeply. It is in the ballads part of her concerts that we can feel it best. If she wants, she can let the entire stadium sing for her.

A very good 1996 grunge-rock sound and an explosive intro .... among the many reasons that make her a special artist and an absolute icon for many fans. Even now, I can't find any other world artist capable of such an effect on stage. When you had the chance to be in the crowd during a Mylène Farmer show ... then those of other artists seem tasteless in comparison ... and yet I saw Madonna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Pink , Rihanna ..... but no, none have provoked me like this in my head (and eyes) like Mylène Farmer. Anamorphosée, the rockest album from Mylene ♡ Vertige is also one of my favorite song. Almost all the songs of this 1996 live are rock. But you can follow with "que mon cœur lâche", "l'instant x ", "comme j'ai mal", "Alice", "tomber 7 fois" or the final "xxl" You also have the intro of the Mylenium tour 1999. This intro is incredible.

we were a lot waiting for this reaction you know :) always a pleasure to see yours... Mylene's Calfornia grungy vibes appeared as a big change in her career, released and wrote "anamophosée" album there, came back with a new look and hit single as XXL, L'instant X, California, Comme j'ai Mal.... The Live à Bercy 1996 was mostly influenced by this album, in which Ouverture then Vertige, was the opening. You can react to L'instant X, but the music video is better for the sound, Tomber 7 fois, or XXL both from Live 1996. Another great moment from this Live 1996 is the new rock version of Libertine. Hey Johnny ! Loved your reaction to this one, was pretty sure you'd like the song since it's heavier on guitars and drums than what you've heard from her before. It is from her "Anamorphosée" album which is by far her more rock influenced album. This tour followed that album. It was a big shift for her on all levels : sound, look... that show was insane, the big screens, the moving platforms, she comes down from a giant metal spider at some point ("Alice"). Which can seem a bit simplistic compared to what she's doing now (and what you've already seen from her) but it was pretty revolutionary in 96 as far as what was done on stage at the time. She definitely is a female MJ as far as artistry goes, and how people react to it. Funny also how you talked about people fainting, and seconds later there's a close-up shot of a passed out woman being dragged out of the crowd. Mylène's shows are intense man ! ahah

Indeed an excellent song not tapped enough at its time... strange. And indeed it was the 1st song of the show : "ouverture" means opening/beginning. Else another excellent instrumental song like this one is "Tomber 7 fois" Live 1996 (the same show). Good guitars/drums - good dynamic. Not easy to find in HD on KZbin. There could also be "XXL" Live 1996. Each concert she sings it by revisiting it, but according to me the version Live 1996 is the best, the "fresher"... In HD on KZbin ? Maybe... In case you notice a different hair during a same song according to cameras, it's because it was recorded during many evenings

Hello, thanks for your comment on MF (Mylène Farmer). By the way, I advice you not so say "Adieu" in French because it's mean "Farewell" (if I didn't make mistake in English). So, "Adieu" in French means goodbye forever. I advice you to say "À bientôt" (you can translate in English by : See you soon) and that's better.
