Hey Paul, Fellow airline pilot here. I just wanted to comment on how I appreciate the quality of your videos. From the very clear and coherent idea and writing, to the execution of filming, sound capturing and editing, with an animation here and there. Absolutely fantastic end result, delivering a perfect amount of adventure, aviation, destinations, family, information about the job, and a wholesome message to wrap everything together. Fantastic job. I never tend to be such a 'backseat rider' and comment like this, but you should know how much your fine work is appreciate it. And regarding almost giving up KZbin, there is something to be said about your clear methodology, debrief, set goals, make a plan and execute, that MADE you develop your craft of making absolutely beautiful videos over time. Maybe it started at that very point, when you made that video two years ago as if it would be your last, and I'm very happy that it wasn't because I enjoy your well delivered content very much. Something about the clarity of your message truly resonates. Well done man, really - Bravo. Blue skies and easy commutes!

Wow Paul...I watch all of your videos because I like the content you give and I am a loyal 1K United flyer. This video, however, was different. As I watched the last part of the video about the grass strip I thought about my dad, though long gone, made a huge impact in my life. You brought a happy tear to my eye, and for that I am grateful. I love your honesty and even your vulnerability that you show in your videos. I hope to see you on a flight some day and shake your hand. Create the memories that your kids will have of you when you are long gone. Peace brother!

What an amazing message at the end of this one. If you’re aspiring to be a professional pilot it is a lonnnnnnnng hard road. You want it so bad but it takes time to get there. Comparison is the thief of joy. Enjoy where you’re at in your training. It is a privilege to be able to get to fly. Others may only get to dream of where you are in your training. You can do this. Day by day!

However, I'm glad I found a renewed focus on it, and it's people like you and Big Ern who keep me motivated. I've followed a few others, and unfortunately, due to whatever circumstances they no longer post, which is disappointing. So please continue to post videos. Also wanted to add that I'm following you all the way from The Bahamas 🇧🇸 🎉

If you’re coming to Scotland, you must come to Aberdeen/Dyce. Not only is it an International Airport, it’s the world’s busiest heliport.handling over 500,000 helicopter passengers alone (and Aberdeen is a nice city to visit), especially when its sunny when the granite buildings just sparkle.

I think of all the videos I've ever watched from pilot channels on youtube, this one really made me emotional. I'm a Southwestern cowboy at heart, living in the northeast. New Mexico is my hometown, but my heart belongs in those 4 corners. I'm at 1400 TT and so close to my ATP mins, in the cadet program of a regional airline here in the northeast. I could cry i'm so ready to be flying for the airlines, so hopefully within the next few months, hopefully hiring doesn't close up. I dream of being able to move back to the southwest and fly around Arizona, Colorado, etc. I really appreciated this video. Incredible and a taste into what i can look forward to...

Paul, what a very profound episode but what I can’t believe is that you only published 8 videos last year. I love your content fella, so please keep those videos coming. I follow Erny’s KZbin channel as well and he’s like you - an aviator with a love (and passion) for travel. You said something in this episode that made me stop and think! I have reached a point in my own KZbin channel, where I’m stuck at just under 1,000 subscribers, and I came into 2024 ready to give up. People don’t realise how much effort it is to take the GoPro with you everywhere, never mind the hours, and hours,,,,, and hours editing when you get home. I’ve therefore decided to continue into 2024 and just published my first two episodes from a recent trip to Phoenix (all KZbinrs seam to be in Phoenix in January). I’m planning “Our Big Pacific Adventure,” For the summer 2024, four weeks in Northern California and then Hawaii; and I want to recreate that hike you did on the Big Island to watch the sunrise. Your videos inspire Paul, and while I can never be a real airline pilot, I can dream, but most importantly I am lucky that Fiona and I do have the means to travel and enjoy what this beautiful blue planet has to offer. If you do make it to Scotland this year, please come to Glasgow and say hello. Your friends in Edinburgh will understand what I say when I say; “Glasgow is miles Better.” Take care my friend, and please keep those videos coming and most importantly: keep liv’n Your dream whatever it is. Graeme the Irishman in Scotland.

Nice job Dude. Glad you didn’t quit. You have an enviable life. You made wise choices when you were younger and made your life what you want. Kudos. I’ll fly next week out of MSP and would be in good hands with you piloting.

I always love your videos and your content. I have been in Sedona last year. It is a great place, especially the canyons. However, I absolutely love the Dreams part from your video. I cannot thank you enough Paul Sir, for your videos content❤❤

Great video!! Small world with the crossover with BigErn! Winter weather has been rough, thanks for some inspiration to make it to spring. Catch ya in the flight levels this summer!

IMO your videos are attractive because of your job and your sense of adventure. You present yourself as humble, vulnerable, share your family, and are relatable. Plenty of pilots on YT but you show many more facets and that’s why I tune in. Keep on enjoying life…it’s too short a trip to get stuck in the ruts.
