You had to be there. My partner and I went all the way from London to Paris to see this show twice. It was so epic she couldn't take it on tour as the set was too big to transport. I remember being stunned when the water started to fall and you could feel the cold air blowing from it across the crowd. Still makes me emotional watching it now.

At first it seemed to me that it just started raining, but it was intended, so I was really impressed. I wasn’t at this concert (and I couldn’t, due to my age - I’m a young Mylene fan), but this show amazed me. It's brilliant and I'm so glad that you and your friend were able to enjoy it twice! It’s water curtains! And yes, the gates are specially made for the concert!! The reason most of us (fans) feel so proud to be her fans, is because of this. Absolute masterpieces. This song is definitely one of the best/THE best song of her career.. stunning, emotional, poetic lyrics, mind blowing stage visuals, the emotion she sings with, the melody.. it gives me chills, makes me cry/super emotional every time and you don’t want to know how many times I’ve seen it! She’s truly such a wonderful artist. I wish there was a way for you to understand the lyrics since they are essential when it comes to her. Yes you are correct, her breaks between concerts can be 4-7 years long, and I think you understand why.

I was at this concert ! I even saw her twice during these 2 weeks at Bercy :) It was absolutely wonderful, and I loved this outro, you could feel the water refreshing your face even far away in the pit.

Thanks for your reaction ! The waterfall wall was a worldwide premiere at that time. The big wall closing at the end was specially made for this show, it is a wood carved replica from a church wall in Florence, Italy. The stage and all the props were too big and too heavy to be taken elsewhere, so she did only 13 dates in Paris for this show. I was lucky to see it, it was mesmerizing. At the end everyone was stunned by the whole production. You should watch the entrance "peut être toi". 🙏

Great reaction you guys! To this day this is my favourite live performance, nobody will ever top this. The woman silhouette on the water courtain is her as she appears on the tour's poster. The big wooden doors were made especially for the tour (they are not from the venue). She toured 1989, 1996, 1999-2000, 2006, 2009, 2013, 2019.

Thank you for this reaction! The lyrics of this song are beautiful. It talks about the moment of death. Mylene's songs are very difficult to translate because the lyrics are very complex. There are often puns as well. Mylene's universe is very varied and with this song you start to get into it. Great to see Mylene being appreciated outside of France. We were lucky enough to see her last year at her 9 date residency at the Defense Arena Paris, beyond stunning, it was the realisation of a dream. Sadly it is likely to have been her last concerts.

Thanks so much for reacting to Mylène! I’m from the US but I speak French and to me she is a goddess. So amazing. Fun fact: she doesn’t go on tour. These spectacular sets are built at a specific venue, which is rented out for a week or two, and she gives a series of concerts there. The fans come to her. Sells out 250,000 tickets in a few hours. My dream is to attend one live some day!!!

It's the stairway to heaven ! she presents herself in front of god completly bare. She leaves the material world. The word in the water is "passé" / the past. it go away with the water. It's very symbolic, epurating by water. She speaks about her fear of death but at least she knows that she loves.

It was not the venue but part of the show. The stage was that huge and complicated to buid that it had to take place at only this specific venue - just like her last tour in 2019, Paris Bercy Omnisports. Mylene played 13 shows and it was sold out one year before. Been there and it was truely amazing, as all of her shows! She isn't really famous and known here in Germany but an Icon in France.

The story/concept of this is that she’s walking up the stairs to go and sacrifice or give herself up for her sins (etc) while walking up the stairs. Going towards her inventible death.. saying to us, a ‘final’ goodbye. You can slightly hear church bells in the background!

I was there in 2006. Attended 2 shows out of the 13 (it was a residency in Paris... not a tour). The water started dropping and I didn't get that what that was until a couple seconds later! It is an epic ending... in all honesty though she is the queen of epic endings! Like another user has noted, her ending of the residency in 2019 with the song L'Horloge is another epic one!!!! PS: the silhouette of a woman on the waterfall is actually Mylene's silhouette from a promo photo for this concert.
