I think it's more than that. I think he realized that he was replaceable and that he wasn't original. Like the singer told him in the beginning, write your own songs, live your own life.
@erick7777 Жыл бұрын
@@round105 I'll also add to both of your valid points here. That slow motion scene where he happily gives up and "lets go" of his dream - which was everything he ever wanted - after realizing there are more important things in life. I never followed my dream in order to stay and care for a now departed loved one - and I would happily do it again. I'm sure many people would choose the daily grind & sacrifice of a 9-5 in order to provide for their family, than be away from them for months on end. Time is an irreplaceable gift.
@e.l.norton4 ай бұрын
It's more than that. He got his dream but it wasn't what he'd imagined, and he never considered the costs. He didn't read the fine print. And, at the end of it all none of it was his, which was precisely why he could walk away from it. He hadn't really succeeded. He was just standing in someone else's shoes playing dress-up for a while. None of it was really him. So, he went to find out who he really was, if anything, as a musician and a person.
