You know why Myles Kennedy is underrated even though he is one of the best? Look at his songs he sang, its not about doing drugs, praising alcohol, objectifying women, cuss words, sexual words, making people more depressed or giving more reason for anxiety. No, Myles Kennedy songs are all about love, love that is slowly loosing it's value, songs about the departed, songs about motivation, it's all about positive vibes.

As someone who must have seen Myles live at least 20 times by now (both in Alter Bridge and together with Slash on his tours) and finally going to see his solo project coming wednesday (November 20th 2024 in the Netherlands), I can attest this man goes much harder on the vocals in live settings than he does on recordings. I have yet to become tired of listening to him live. Also met him a few times afterwards and he's just a really down to earth guy! No arrogance, grateful for you attending the show, he's definitely in the top 3 of my favourite artists (Alter Bridge as a whole even, I must say).

Myles Kennedy Is really incredible artist as a singer, as guitarist and as a person🤘🎶🤘Sadly I haven't met him, only once I've been in Alter Bridge concert, and I remember when I held my fiancé top of my shoulders and she went absolutely bananas because it was her dream to come as it was mine as well when we finally got there, and Myles saw my fiancé how excited she was while she was on too of my shoulders and the crazy waiving and yelling that she made over seeing Myles in live, and then it made him laugh a little and he also nodded at the same time while he was smiling. It was little moment but it definitely meant a lot to both us. Even though I couldn't see much there bc I'm little man about 170cm tall and other people there were hella giants😂😂😮 But we truly treasure that gig, best one where I have ever been❤🙏 But one day I would love to meet him, maybe talk a little about music and stuff few minutes, but I have to be patient and just hope that they will come to Finland again🇫🇮🙏🙏🙈😅

Listen to the first scream in the demo version of Bottom by Tool. Around 1:10-1:30 in the song. He belts the note, then somehow pushes the rasp further and increases pitch by a few semitones. I think you’d love it. Maynard deserves another series. The Grudge scream in the last 1/3 of the song is iconic as well
