I have to wonder if Exo might have a specific, special connection with the darkness. Their significant part in the stasis experiments suggest that they might have been particularly good test subjects for the darkness and thus maybe they have some sort of intrinsic power to resist its effects.

It seems like he was generally seen as a genius and model of golden age thinking back then, probably not public about the less moral experiments. Guardians however didn’t exist until after the collapse, we probably know more about Clovis now than we ever could previously

The complete disregard for physics in the food supplement test is hilarious. ignoring the whole energy density side of things, the fact that Clovis thought that someone could possibly hold 10 years worth of food inside them at one time is just insane. You eat what, three times your body weight every year? You'd have to eat a pill 30 times your own body weight. Even If we disregard excrement, it's still going to be 20 times your own body weight. Assuming that said pill is consumed as a standard meal, like eating a big burger, that's still stomach sized lump of 20 times your own body weight. They would just have there stomach plop through there body onto the floor. Absolutely incredible. And come on Clovis, just have the pill last for a week, and be the size of a reasonable big but still swallowable sized pill. Eat one every Monday with a glass of water, and your still have all the benefits with bassically no risk of explosion.

Europa CMC could potentially stand for conamara chaos, a geographic region of the moon. Since the patrol area of Europe accessible in game is the rathmore chaos, this would imply an external facility not in the game where this experiment was conducted

The Bray lab record that covered "extra appendages" brings one thing to mind; experimentation that lead to Atraks-1 Fallen Exo becoming a reality when the fallen invaded it and us guardians counter attacked. If the experimentation wasn't a failure one could imagine exo-workers in cargo bays with 4 arms lifting 3-5x the weight of a regular exo. I sure wouldn't want to pick a fight with them as the sheer strength of something like that would be high enough it could probably perform a second purpose as a battlefield bi-pedal heavy weapon platform(artillery, short range rail guns etc...). Quite the scary yet truly amazing use of such highly experimental technology.

Something I just realized: as abhorrently evil as Clovis was, and indeed he was. It wasn’t him alone. We’ve seen plenty of the scientists that work for him take moral issue with his work but for every one of them how many of his subordinates carried out their work for him without a second thought. This guy with Clovis during the icefall mantle test is a perfect example. Just continuing to follow to order to increase power and agreeing that Abram “has no vision”. We look at all these Aliens in our Solar system like they are monsters but back when Humans had the prosperity afforded by the traveler, there were a lot of people committing just as evil deeds, if not worse, on each other.
