Hi Alan and Sally its good to see you both .I've missed a few vlogs as I unexpectedly had a Stroke on October the 5th and spent ten days in hospital;.Now I'm Home and really not too bad at all ,no analysis no loss of any sort except I have a crackle in my voice..I've regained the weight I lost in hospital as I was on drip the whole time.My Dr has checked me out and given me the ok to drive.Iniyially I was very sleepy andasweak asa kitten but that has improved a lot.Now I have catchup on missed vlogs. I love the small boats but they must have a separate bedroom and a proper bath (not a wet room). I liked the 3rd boat.

The bedroom aspect is dependant on the layout of the boat. It’s very rare for a Narrowboat to have a proper bath, they tend to have a hip bath. Baths take too much water and the heating of it would also be a problem. The third boat had a lot of merit.

It's good actually, as they give you the keys and you can take your time and have a thorough look about, that's not so easy when the broker is with you, I know from my own experience. Some of the boats for sale are owned by the marina.

Hi Mickey. I can’t say about other marinas, at Whilton you turn up on spec and they record your name and number. I’m already in their system. They don’t give you engine keys, so if you want to start an engine you’d have to ask in the Office. Cheers

I have reverse moored in the past but it creates issues such as filling the water tank, as the hose has to run the full length of the jetty and then the filler is on the far side and difficult to get to, also it means that I can't enjoy views into the marina from the rear of the boat.
