Lot's of great information. However, the music is too loud & very distracting.

Love your video. Very informative, straight to the point. Just enough information for parents to make a decision for a child. Thank you

There is a missing variable in the peripheral defocus theory in that the effect only occurs in good lighting.

Hope you can get me out of myopia. Why not? Science shows it is possible, from 20/50.

To get rid of your myopia which is relatively low, you need to spend 2-4 hours a day outside without glasses, looking into distance and using your eyes fully every day. Fully engage with the 3D world around you. Stop staring and de-focusing your eyes. Avoid using computer screens and phones. Indoors use bright natural full spectrum lighting.

You might start seeing double images when you do this. It is a sign that your eyes are trying to re-image at 20/20. With practice you will eventually fuse this image and have perfect vision. You will get clear flashes of perfect vision, especially when it is bright and sunny.

Can you use these therapies that can be used for adults? i.e when you know that the myopia progresses in older adults, is there any way to broach having these treatment options available as an adult?

Of course you can get yourself out of it (from 20/50, to 20/20), by wearing a "prevention plus lens", for all close work, during the school years. I am now back to 20/20. Based on the results of Dr. YOUNG.

Of course, you can always prevent it. In your own children. If you have the care, concern and interest.

Thank you for a very clear explanation of myopia and peripheral defocus theory. But, please, please, please do away with the background music. It's not helpful and actually detracts from the professionalism of your presentation...
