Good Video for two Tp-Link routers 👋But ISP will provide their own branded routers. In My case: Jio Fiber ISP router and D-Link (DIR-816 Dual Band) connected fine but when power fails (no UPS) @ My Jio Fiber router side, it restarts, all my configuration gone. Again I need to reconfigure all the time when power fails. Where as power fails at D-Link side nothing will happen. Any solution for this Please help any one faced this problem🤝

If the internet goes down due to a power failure and the second router is receiving the connection from the first router, as shown in this video, then the second router will also stop forwarding internet traffic. The DHCP server is enabled on the first router; if it is not available, how will the device be assigned an IP address? Simply plug second router with backup power supply. If the setting is removing after the power failure in the jio router you need to contact jio support and get the jio router replaced.

Thanks for the reply but if power resumes the Jio router working fine know 😊 why does the Jio router replace ? Only the 2nd router (D-Link) repeater is not working automatically if the power resumes at the Jio router side 😊 need solution on power OFF/ON cases at 1st (Jio) router side 😮

Pls check are you using same model no. of wifi routers like tplink wifi routers also check wds supported on both wifi routers. Disable the dhcp server on 2nd wifi routers. Set the different ip address but same subnet of 2nd wifi routers.
