That’s a ~beautiful~ color set for a gradient. I am definitely going to try this technique. I like that it looks less wasteful. It seems like a good way to achieve a nice gradient effect with much less polish.

I can see the brush strokes a lot more clearly here than on the Twitch stream. Really nifty effect! Oh, and the stills REALLY make the holo pop!

That technique with the fan brush is amazing, i love how it turned out especially with those beautiful colors, loved it.

really nice manicure! I want to try this method as I too like the idea of the brush strokes being visible, it brings more dimension to the design. Plus, if you have to make a little repair or fill in with a brush, it will blend right in! And it really seems less messy and less polish used! Thanks for a great video. Rose

I've used the sponge for years, with polish / acrylics. And, I hate the mess! I'm going to try this technique... it really came out beautifully! ♥

I can't wait to give this a go! It looks beautiful. I like the sponge gradient, but as you say, the brush strokes make this one look very interesting and different.

Seems easier than having to reload a sponge with the colors. Looking forward to seeing what other gradient techniques (reciprical?) you do with the brush instead of a sponge.

Beautiful as always. I prefer a fan brush to a sponge. I find that i can control the odors better. For me it’s also neater.

Enjoyed watching this technique and love the color choices. I do have a question though. Were you able to do entire mani or 5 fingernails before having to clean fanbrush or did you find it needing cleaning polish off periodically while doing this mani?
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
I should have mentioned in the vid - I was cleaning the brush in between each nail. You could probably get away with every 2-3 nails tho

How often did you rinse the fan brush in acetone? Is it more beneficial for you if we watch the vod on twitch or the full post on here?
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
I was cleaning it between every nail, I wish I'd remember to mention it in the tutorial - you could probably get away with every other nail or so though. I guess youtube would be a bit more beneficial since I don't get any ad revenue on twitch yet, but do whichever is easiest for you!
