1990 ನೇ ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸರಾಳ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ನನಗೆ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಲಿಲ್ಲ.ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಕುರಿತ ಲೇಖನ ಓದಿ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳಯನ್ನ ಕೇಳಿದೆ ( ಶಾಲೆಯ ಊಟ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ) ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯ. ನಾವು ಕುಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಕದ ರಸ್ತೆ ಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೆ.ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಕೊರತೆ. ನೀವೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ ದನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು

Very good art and sculpture I have worked 13 years in that place we hemavathy employees conducting shivarathri pooja about 6 years. Later I have transferred. But behind story not known. Really thanks for information.

This is great work sir! You are inspiring us to visit Mandya just to experience all these divine sculptures. The 5th stone slab seems to be "Kirti Mukha" . Kirti Mukha has a significance beyond god and that's why you see them atop the temple idols. Hamsa too have a significance of being the Supreme Spirit! Very thoughtful of the sculptors 🙏
