For example : - Many Indian gods are similar to ancient Eqyptian gods Most of the Japanese gods are actually same as Indian Gods The Ancient cultures were unbiased in understanding the nature of existence.. They studied both the physical & non physical side of the universe Hence, we have Yoga & Astrology which also includes the non physical experiences.. These culture is "Dharma" not religion.. Dharma worships the forces of nature & understands the nature of existence... Religion however invades & supresses the truth like it happened in India when the Abrahamic religions took over...
