I appreciate your video. I like your intuitive thinking style, very reminiscent of some early forms of philosophy. I think the process of explaining something in an intuitive way (which some might call rambling), itself facilitates the crystalization of ideas in a very profound way. Like a free conversation with one’s self. Keep up the good work!

“To begin with the senses, ’tis evident these faculties are incapable of giving rise to the notion of the continu’d existence of their objects, after they no longer appear to the senses. For that is a contradiction in terms, and supposes that the senses continue to operate, even after they have ceas’d all manner of operation.” -David Hume

It's interesting that the very thing you're engaging in, which is a kind of freewheeling intuitive exploration of ideas, is the very thing that ultimately necessitated the mathematical formalisation of empirical knowledge. Intuition is in some sense unbounded, which is to say wild and unreliable. There's a freedom to it but it's just as likely to lead us astray as to the point...but perhaps that depends on how you define 'the point'.

Hello, you make a fair point, and it is one that I consider in my thinking process. The theories that we have about physics came from intuitive thinking and mathematics thing and tested with experiments. After quantum physics came about the intuitive ideas were so wild that people had to stop trying to imagine stuff. Whether or not we can advance physics with a philosophical approach, I don’t think it posses any threat to science, but It could pose a threat to an individuals sanity or comfort in feeling like their environment is known.

@@christopherwhittaker2620 well I agreed with 0% of what I heard and I think this method of research is complete bogus and should be left where it belongs (the past). I'm just speaking about the YT Channel itself, I'm sure it has a future. The guy is smoking a fucking pipe in fake mustache while shitposting quantum physics. Great content tbf

How do you think we got to where we are? Because of people in the past. This research method is called philosophy, and in a sense it is a lost art, people get very upset at it, possibly as a mechanism for the mind to avoid chaos, and maybe for good reason.

You know I consider myself a rambler sometimes, but this video is nothing but rambling. There is an entertainment value of seeing you dressed up, smoking a pipe, sitting in front of many books, but the whole thing seems like a bit. Your thoughts are somewhat disorganized and so far I haven't heard a single idea that adds something new to the topics you've lightly touched.

glad you enjoyed the video, I am using an Intuitive way of thinking, and in this sense it could be hard to follow in a straight forward way. A great man once termed this technique as “The Weave.”

The theories you take issue with are mystical strawmen of the real theory. Particles aren't split into multiple universe. Instead, they show up as a wave when recorded . This is known as wave particle duality. Consciousness is the result of electrical synapses within an evolved nervous system. Each aspect of consciousness is explainable through the relevant organs. Light doesn't travel through a medium or on a surface space is a vacuum in which there is no matter or in which the pressure is so low that any particles in the space do not affect any processes

I am literally criticizing the idea that particles split into different universes

@yoseftovshteyn yes and rightfully so. But those are strawmen of superpostion and entanglement

I am not criticizing anything in terms of actual scientific experiments. Therefore I don’t see why you say I’m straw manning, I am simplifying to get to the idea

@yoseftovshteyn sorry for my disconnect with your point. I realize you're not doing a strawman, but responding to them . My point was they dont bare any weight to ponder as they don't represent any scientific theory properly
