It may be a bad joke but damn it is a good puzzle! :D Very creative and well presented, I am sure you also had a lot of fun recording this and I am pretty sure this puzzle will bring a great funny moments to the table lol Also, I started watching Wally's videos when he was using a monk robe but I envy the people that their first wally video experience will be stand up comedy wally LOL PS: Make sure you play a joke telling bard in the future Wally!

A fun puzzle, and one I actually managed to solve! I'm curious how the bard uses this dore themselves though (do they put on all three masks?) And also why are PC roaming through their stuff, but... It's not like a good reason is necessary. Fun fact: the only standup comedy I have physically visited was of this type: performers are demonstratively bad at it, and that's what the punchline is. I didn't like it (it's just awkward), but I guess they have their audience.

Glad you were able to get the solution. Hooray! Hmmm... So, I thought about how the bard gets through and I came up with different ideas. The joke in the book adjusts to the number of people in the room. So if there's four, then it would something like "a Dragon, an Owl, a Rat, and a Horse". Or, just the first three need to go through. The bard could just have "a Dragon walks into a bar", or perhaps, they have their own secret way of getting through to it. Some good brainstorming, hope this helps. Cheers!

Considering that the entrance opens to the main hall, not to the backstage, it would make sense if it was mainly for the bard's trusted friends and long-term clients and if the bard themselves had yet another way to get in. But also I like the idea that the joke adjusts to the number of people in the room! And if the bard is a pink dragon (an obscure monster from one of the older editions), "the dragon walks into a bar" fits
