An 800-foot diameter is completely mind-blowing. I think many people fail to comprehend that level of immensity, but 800 feet is the length of over 2.5 football fields!

i bet the acoustics in there are brilliant. edit 2:55 looks like where you might slot wooden beams to place a shelf / walkway.. are there corresponding symmetrical slots on the opposite wall too?

I cannot tolerate how historians repeat a false thing again and again like it's historical gospel. For instance, the Norwegian Storegga Slide -- I wanted to know how they arrived at the date for the event. So I dug, and dug, and dug through academic articles until I finally found that the whole entire dating for the Storegga Slide is from a single piece of driftwood found in Scotland in a layer of sediment they believe left behind by the tsunami event. There's NO other dating methods used, or other attempts at corroborating the piece of driftwood. That's it. That one piece of wood is the foundation for everything written about the Storegga Slide, and it's all wrong if you look at the animals wiped out -- the species of Megafauna killed by the tsunami were already extinct before the generally accepted date for the Storegga Slide.

4:15 on the Wiki, the "remains" of a wooden sarcophagus in a masterfully built dry masonry structure? Archeologists have the same problems as everyone else, such as shortsighted thinking.

psst... Kerak Castle in Jordan. I think they closed it down to tourists but I've been there. If that Castle/"Good luck trying us" Fort was built in 1140 and the rest of the world missed the memo until the star forts 600 years later... sure.

Wonderful! I never saw this monument before. A pyramid? There is a definition of a pyramid in geometry. Anyway it is amazing. And of course it is not a tomb because it have an entrance. What do they think? A tomb need an entrance because the dead come and go as they like? We cannot be sure what its purpose was. Most likely it was a hal for gathering like the findings in Göbeki Tepe with roof on top were most likely hall for gathering, feasts, celebrations and so on. Calling every big building a tomb or a temple is worse than ridiculous.

there's a fair amount of carbon data suggesting giza pyramids are misdated by 300-400 years at most, from pyramid mortar samples with organic matter in them.......carbon dating needs to be consistently done with reeds and not wood samples.... trees live a long time and mess up dating attempts.
