If fireworks have temporarily been in a humid environment or got wet somehow, you can use a dessicant such as silica gel to quick dry the fireworks. k-star reusable orange silica gel for instance is a really good option. Just place fireworks and silica gel together in a sealed plastic box.

@@SilverStagPyro This only works if the fireworks have been wet or in a humid place for a short time. If the fireworks have been wet or in a humid place for a long time, there is a good chance that the ammonium nitrate has started to leech out of the blackpowder which will make blackpowder burn less efficiently.

Damn that Dancing Fresh flower put in some work haha, I remember that randomly happened to me with an old Sheltons smoke stick when I was first starting to get fireworks, it shot itself like 15-20 feet that left a blue line on the ground & then blew up real loud, some times its a pleasant surprise, other times not so much. 😂

Well, I filmed today, and used your idea. However, I didn’t have any strobe fireworks bc I rarely buy strobes. But the smoke in the pumpkin looked pretty cool! That video will come out on Halloween 👊🏽

That is what can happen with older fireworks, the powder becomes compressed and just explodes.
