My money would be on stripped bass. Looked like the right depth for this time of year. The way they are stacked up definitely favors stripped bass. They probably would have taken a smaller live skip Jack. Just a guess. Love the videos!

Probably Gar. Gar love to sit and float with the current. You can get them to eat cut bait and live bait. But they will look at it for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Gar are a fun time such a underrated fish. The reason they did not eat was the water was to cold for a feeding bite. But put that stinger in their face they will eat it out of reaction. Great video Justin keep at those Gar and you will catch one!

In past videos he explains that the water in his area is contaminated and the fish are unsuitable to eat posted at most boat launches that only two species are "keepable" but if the rest aren't what makes them immune

I always have Nightcrawlers when I fish the river. They will catch EVERYTHING. might have got you a few of those big marks fish in the livescope if they were sturgeon!

My guess is striper. Caught a striper yesterday in Watts Bar in 40 ft of water on 4lb test and a minnow. Heard others were targeting stripers and having success. Had to keep it, would not revive after a15 minute fight.

Justin I know you have a good system down and I'm all for your techniques. But as a long time watcher of your channel and I could be wrong but, when you're using those stinger Flys I wonder if the hook above it had a couple inches of lead off the main line if you would get better hook up. I know you caught plenty with the stinger fly itself, so it's been beneficial. But strictly speaking on hook up ratio success when the stinger fly is on doesn't seem to be as successful on the upper main line hook. I'm wondering if a 2 or 3 in leader off the main line for the upper hook would be better. We have what's called bear claws up here in New York that make it so that upper hook won't wrap around the main line in the event you have a longer leader for the upper hook. I thought you did well with the straight up Carolina rig. Let me know what you think?

Couldend you cut 20 small pieces fish and trow it 15 meters before youre kayak , so the pieces of fish would land on the bottom wright under youre kayak , I suppose the fish would follow the small pieces of fish to the bottom and start feeding .... ? Normaly fish would follow the free food

I'd almost bet $$$ that they're paddle fish, marked fish just like this while fish'n Watts Bar about 72ft depth and they were anywhere from 30'-50' deep, couldn't get them to bite at all.
