Mystery Oil Leak is GONE and I'm confused...

On this Honda ADV 150 and I kept noticing oil spots underneath the bike, but I couldn't tell where they were coming from. Once I performed an oil change there's no more oil spots. The oil drain bolt wasn't leaking, the oil filter bolt was fine, and I couldn't find anything. The only logical explanation I can think of is maybe I over-filled the oil in the motor a little bit too much and once I started riding it may have forced it out some through the dipstick area. However, the dipstick seemed dry and tight upon inspection. I need a motorbike lift I know that much.

You mentioned using synthetic oil in previous videos. I’ve been riding since 1978 and after break in period, I have always used synthetic. However, it’s capable of seeping through gaskets and seals. That’s the nature of its molecular structure. Park it on a pad. There’s nothing you can do. Make sure everything is tightly put back together after an oil change. Maybe put a thin neoprene washer/gasket on the gold plug and filter drain.
