Would you say this uses similar methods to The Call? I found The Call pretty complicated in the set up and all the sneaky work done on the spectators phone. Would you say Total Control is easier/cleaner than the Call?

100%, but that being said, The Call is fascinating and arguably a WAY stronger effect. If I can give any kind of advice, which this is straight from Hiroshi as we’ve formed the bridge of friendship, the real secret to The Call is just don’t give a shit and go for it. It feels like when you’re setting up the first part that it’s super awkward and obvious, but it’s really easy if you can just relax and converse while you do it. Funny thing is, if you see Hiroshi do it in person, he NEVER turns the phone away from the spectators because he has perfect muscle memory to execute the actions. It’s strange to watch and experience because it FEELS so natural even though something deceptive IS happening. Hope this helps!
