Maybe the progress was intentionally slowed down. If technology becomes too advance it can also became more spread, powerful people would probably want to either hoard all advanced tech or juat artificially make the world stuck on the level where they manage everything

it's funny because this isn't even eternity right. You don't experience anything that happens to the android after you're dead. It's an emulation of you. The actual you is dead. Unless we go to heaven when we die like people say who have had NDEs. But then you're experiencing heaven, not what your android is doing on Earth.

this show is so beautiful, the soundtrack is incredible. when people say they haven't seen it, i feel the need to deep dive like I'm explaining elderscrolls lore. made me cry too many times. then netflix ended it after 2 seasons.

@@Leto85 actually thats whats cool, its just based off the books. Each book is a different person as kovac. His sleeve is just in different bodies. But season 2 ended well. Each season wraps up nicely. Its worth watching. They just decided not to continue because netflix didnt see a rise in veiwers it stayed the same but we never left

@@fraybirch1930 i started season 2 but i couldnt get into the main actor really. I grew to like the first two sleeves. I think i gave the first episode a try and it seemed sort of slow to start. Then the canceled the show, so i never looked back into it.

Clone doesn't bring you back live or make you immortal, clone just a copy of you with your memory, the real you is dead for good, basically clone just another human that looks like you, has the same DNA with you that fill with your memories Basically like reincarnation, it's not you, but continue what you do, think like you and act like you while you are dead for sure

I never really understood this premise that being immortal through clones (or anything of the kind) like putting your consciousness in a machine for example, being that when the original you dies, you die, you cease to exist, it's not like when you die you would pass control over your clone, after all, clones are not going to make anyone immortal, essentially there is only one other person in the world who looks like you, has your memories, but he is not you and there is no guarantee that he will act the same way you act he can end up being a totally different person, at best a clone would be a kind of twin.
