Knife looks great, good job. If I may suggest something for another build, how about a spear head?

Thanks! I have actually been thinking about doing a Zulu spear. I appreciate you watching!

is it still in service? and if so hows the edge retention? 5160 has a rep for bad edge retention but ive found at higher hardness it holds up pretty dang good.

I use it daily with a wood cutting board, and since this video I have only had to sharpen it twice and that was just touching up the edge. I use it for mainly cutting boneless meats. I was very impressed with its performance. I appreciate you watching.

does swinging your hammer for a long time hurt the tendons in your elbow, or is it just me?
@Mysticmountainforge2 жыл бұрын
It did at first, I started keeping a looser grip on my hammer and allowed its weight to do the work. Jason Knight talks about hammer technique in his forged series, it made all the difference for me. Thanks for watching, I greatly appreciate it!
