Tsar Nicolas II. Was for me a Good Ruler. My Great Great Grandfather (swiss) moved to the Russian Empire. He had the Honor to see the Tsar one Time at a Parade. He served in the Imperial Russian Army at ww1 and then when the Civil war Broke out.... He had to make a choice: Fight along his old Comrades in the White Army or go back to Switzerland. He as a Patriotic and kind Friend choose to fight for The White Movement and joined the White Army. Then he was shoked when the Tsar died with his other Family Members.... He fought further more Agressive then against the Communists and died Proudly in a Battle against the Soviets in 1919

Hi! I became fascinated in the Romanovs when I first learned about them and the Russian Revolution in world history class during my high school Sophomore year. They were such a nice family! It's sad they all died in such a horrible, beyond disgraceful, way.

Thank you pointing out that Tsar Nicholas II had unreliable people surrounding him, particularly those of his extended family, who were more concerned with their petty vanities and pursuits instead of supporting the Tsar as they should have. With all due respect, this is not true. It is just another rumor. The Tsar was practicing hunting, which was a popular sport in his time. He also shot wild cats, not domesticated ones, and stray animals.Everything he did was completely legal in the context of protecting society from stray animals. We made a video about this topic, please watch it to find out the truth. Here is the link to the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3mse5yCraZ7ndUsi=okNRVYn7MB8TmlSx

What would you think of a fatalist who abdicated the throne BEFORE ensuring the safety of his wife and children? Would you call him a simpleton?
@TsarMartyrNicholasII65373 ай бұрын
The Tsar did not abdicate voluntarily. He was besieged and forcefully forced to sign. He had no time or choice to guarantee his life, not to mention the life of his family, when his train was intercepted. But of course, Kay Father thought about the safety of his family, but he had no choice or time to do anything. If he had resisted, he could have been stabbed, as he was alone among them. The Tsar was not a fool. He had no chance or time to save his life or his family.

@@TsarMartyrNicholasII6537 I don't get how people see him as foolish to be forcibly abdicate when Napoleon had been pressured to abdicate for the good of France twice as Emperor of France. There were many moments when kings tried to avoid greater risk and damages of their country for the good of the country.
@TheRealCreel3 ай бұрын
I don't agree. The tsar tried to do good but could not imagine a country where the masses had good food, shelter, healthcare and education. He believed if the Romanovs relaxed their grip Russia would collapse. WW1 outran his imagination, the masses rejected the tsar for an oligarchy even worse.
@TsarMartyrNicholasII65373 ай бұрын
Indeed, Russia collapsed after the end of the Romanov rule. The glory and greatness that Russia possessed was unable to be achieved by the Soviet Union despite its extensive use of propaganda. The masses supported the revolutionaries because they deceived them with slogans of justice, peace, and equality, but later the people understood that what they had done was a great sin that opened the doors of red terrorism.
